Alisa is awesome. I am so happy that I found her! She initially treated me for Bell's Palsy that I developed at 34 weeks pregnant. She has always been kind, compassionate, calming, and thorough during my time being treated by her. I truly feel she made such a positive difference in my quick recovery. She also later treated me to help induce labor. I highly recommend Alisa. I have full trust and confidence in her knowledge and skills. Her office space is also clean, and it is a peaceful environment.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience with Alisa Galvan. She is knowledgeable, comforting, and attentive. She provided lactation support for our newborn (who has latch issues) and it's because of her help that we have been able to start/continue breastfeeding. Also, I had never had acupuncture before, but I felt comfortable trying it because of the individualized care she provided with the lactation support. She treated me for anxiety/pain and my symptoms have improved drastically. I look forward to future sessions and highly recommend her to anyone in need of these services.

I went to see Alisa for acupuncture treatment when I was 40 weeks five days pregnant to try to get things moving. In hindsight, I had already started early labor that morning coincidentally, and was having some contractions every 10 minutes. It’s hard to say whether the visit helped things continue and progress, or they would have anyway, but I ended up delivering baby that evening! Regardless, it was one of the most thorough and best acupuncture treatments I have received. She really took the time to listen to everything and was great at explaining everything she was doing. If nothing else, I felt extremely relaxed coming out of her office. I would definitely recommend.

I have been going to Alisa for 4 months now and she is by far the best acupuncturist I have ever had (I've had three!) she is so gentle when she inserts the needles but not only that, she is also uses herbs, moxibustion, ear seeds, cupping, massage, essential oils, breathing technique, steaming and so much more to help you heal! I came to her when I found out my baby had no heartbeat and she helped get the natural miscarriage started, just one session and it got it started! She helped and made sure that everything was successfully expelled from the uterus through acupuncture, moxibustion, herbs, and vaginal steaming. Since then she has been helping me recover and take care of my other health concerns. She is incredibly thorough, spends a lot of time each session asking about my overall health and customizes each session based on how I'm feeling that day. She is the best overall eastern medicine practitioner that I could have ever asked for. She also recommends supplements, herbs, oils, for daily use when you are not at the clinic so you can treat yourself at home too! And she answers all of my questions. I am beyond thankful to receive treatment from her and definitely recommend to literally anyone who wants to use Chinese medicine in their health!
