List of Raymond I. Press's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr Press for 22 years! He's the best doctor I've ever had! When I came to him I was in pretty bad shape. He worked with me and got me regulated with my Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is so patient and spends as much time as you need ro remedy any problem you are having. People don't understand that if you are waiting for him, it's because he's spending all the time the previous patient needs. I would wait as long as it takes! Oh, his staff is the greatest! Very professional and kind! I love them! Thank you for all you do.
Dr Raymond Press saved my daughters life. He is the most compassionate and knowledgeable rheumatologist we have seen. He always made her feel like there was hope and he would be by her side walking her through the hardest journey she had ever encountered. I strongly recommend Raymond Press. He became her life line and me as the Mom. I was terrified for her and he knew the exact medication to get ...
My sister and I were very impressed. He is trying to help me the best he can.
I was anxious seeing Dr. Press as a new patient. The doctor and staff made me feel comfortable After our initial visit Dr. Press ordered extensive blood and urine tests.Returned for my follow up visit and Dr. Press examined all my blood work results. Diagnosed my medical issue and throughly explained how to treat this autoimmune disease. My calls are returned promptly and professionally. Highly recommend Dr. Press and staff. Professional friendly and always accommodating...
I was kept waiting in the exam room for a long, long time without any explanation. The doctor didn't answer any of my questions, and he did not seem to be very well informed about my condition at all. And this might just be me, but there were a lot of advertising posters and things around the exam room. It made me uncomfortable. But that wouldn't have been a problem if the doctor didn't seem so rushed and curt with me. The staff seemed nice, though.
I saw Dr. Press for over a yea, paying out of pocket as I had no insurance. He was kind and helpful for the most part; when I asked about side effects of topamax, and mentioned that a coworker had lost weight because it made food taste bad, he offered to Rx Phen-fen to me, regardless of the fact that it was linked to heart issues, and more importantly, had not asked for help with weight-loss. When I lost my job I needed help finding prices for labs, and neither he nor his staff would tell me what lab they used or help me find one with a sliding scale. His office then stopped returning my calls, and I received a nasty letter informing me that I was being fired as a patient due to "non-compliance" with plan of care.
I went in to see Dr Press for some minor stiffness in my knuckles. He prescribed 5 different medications on the first visit and sent me in for multiple blood tests. By the second visit he also injected me. Dr Press had shut down my immune system because he said it was attacking my knuckles. I broke out in a terrible rash on my legs and arms that would take 8 weeks to clear and itch for the entire time. I ended up in an urgent care with the doctors trying to stop the reaction. On the third visit he asked about my diet which he should have done on the first visit before he loaded me up with meds. He wanted to prescribe more meds which I refused since I was reacting to what he was already giving me. A simple change in my diet fixed the problem.Bottom line is he went way overboard with the meds when he could have fixed the problem with a minor change in diet. He turned my life upside down for 8 weeks.I would avoid this guy like the plague. To add insult to injury he made me wait for an hour on each visit and would wanted in late like it was no big deal. His staff commented he was always late.
Dr. Press is a rare find! He listens! He educates as he treats. He excels beyond the basic Standard of Care. He plans time to spend and get to know his patients. He is a published researcher to boot! His staff is happy, warm and welcoming. His nurse has been with him 18 years. I am fortunate to be his patient!
I can not believe such a kind and totally patient centered Dr exists these days. I was proven wrong. Dr. Press is not only knowledgeable, experienced, and selfless with his time, but also kind and gentle with no ego at all. He is by far the BEST Dr. I have ever experienced. He restored my faith in modern medical practice!!
Rare find, he truly listens to you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
