I had my first experience with the foot and ankle specialist San Diego and Dr. Vallone. It was such an excellent and informative appointment. Dr. Vallone knew exactly what the problem was and how to correct it in the best manner. He addressed all my concerns and worries in a very compassionate manner. I left the office feeling so much better, both physically and also emotionally. Finest medical experiences I have ever received.
Dr. Vallone, Is one of the nicest and most helpful doctors. I had an appointment today with him about a concern I had about my foot. He took his time examining me and he explained to me what course of action he would take to help remedy my issues. He seems like he really cares about his patients.I would highly recommend him. 5 stars!⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Great services! Took me on the SAME day I called ,even though the office was closed on that day, because one of my toes was hurting and bleeding. Fun and friendly as well as super professional!
I had an appointment to have orthotics made by Dr Vallone as I have been wearing the same pair since 1993. I found Dr Vallone to be patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He took care to examine my feet and make recommendations for how I can prevent future problems and to make sure we are making the right choice of which orthotics to have made. I only wish I’d come in to his office sooner.
Dr Vallone is great. Never been to a podiatrist and he took very good care of me. I called him my foot whisperer! My feet have never looked better. His office staff are also very nice and pleasant to deal with. Thanks Dr Vallone and staff. Much appreciated.
I am shocked by the good reviews for this doctor. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't walk, run away from this doctor. Due to Dr. Vallone's negligence and substandard care I have permanent damage to my toe tendon which may cause issues and pain later on. I just finished my third corrective foot surgery because of Dr. Vallone's mistakes. One year ago, I had a bunionectomy done by Dr. Vallone, which has turned into a nightmare. A week after my first procedure the surgical screw that was placed in my foot by Dr. Vallone came loose. This was extremely painful, I was unable to put any weight on my foot. At my follow-up appointment Dr. Vallone stated that this had happened to a previous patient and scheduled me for another surgery to fix it the following week. During this procedure, Dr. Vallone removed the screw and replaced it with 2 pins instead.Unfortunately, this corrective procedure did not work. My big toe was completely immobile and pointed down and inward. After 2 months of pain (and many x-rays and consults with Dr. Vallone), I sought a second opinion from another podiatrist. My new doctor was shocked by what Dr. Vallone had done. He said that he had never seen anything like it before. He explained that Dr. Vallone had replaced the screw with 2 very large pins, which were placed ¾ inch outside of the bone and poked through the bottom of my foot. No wonder I was in pain.My new doctor scheduled a corrective surgery that same week to remove both pins Dr. Vallone put in my toe. I've been in physical therapy for months to improve my ability to walk. I had my 4th surgery this week to continue fixing his mistakes.I believe Dr. Vallone is a kind man but his negligence caused me permanent damage, months of pain and 3 corrective surgeries which at my age, 67, are not a joke. I would not recommend seeing this provider.

I found Dr. Vallone because of his reviews. All very positive and especially related to bunion surgery, which I needed. So I finally got my surgery done 4 weeks ago and I am amazed. Dr Vallone has been great explaining the procedure and what I needed to do to have a successful outcome. My surgery went awesome, RB surgery center was awesome! There was just no pain. I made sure I followed all his instructions post op. To the tee! I’m at 4 weeks and got the go ahead today to be in my normal shoe for a few hours a day. Dr. Vallone is very confident and has a super calming bed side manner. If you’ve been told all your life to never let anyone fix your bunion ( what I’ve heard for 30 years) I’m here to tell you it was the best decision I’ve made and that is because I chose a Super Talented doctor! Thank you Dr. Vallone!

I saw dr vallone for a bunionectomy and plantar fasciitis. He was great! Wonder bedside manner.
Dr. Vallone is extremely knowledgeable in his field and truly cares about his patients. He never rushes through the appointment, but takes the time to talk to you and answer any questions you may have. I wish there were more doctors like him.
I am a patient. The good Doctor is very knowledgeable, and honest with sensitivity and positivity. He is helping me heal and understand my feet. 5 star. ( good location too).
I’m veteran and requested to see Doctor Vallone her staff gives me every excuses to deny my treatment her staff told me over the phone that I need my providers approval and I did get my approval but her staff refuses to verify. it I’m not sure what the mental condition of her staff on why they would do something like that based on this experience I wish that Drs Vallone’s license to practice medicine I permanently revoked
It’s been 2 years since my double hallux rigidus joint replacement surgeries and i am pain free and doing well. It is SO nice to not be constantly thinking about the pain in my big toes! It took a full year for me to be completely pain free, but it was less and less as time went on. It just took me longer. But i am doing well now. Thank you Dr. Vallone!
He's definitely the best in San Diego. He really knows his stuff and he's very kind and cares very much about his patients. He took time on Thanksgiving to see me after getting surgery done a few days before. I highly recommend him!
Dr Vallone is an expert and is patient with an great bedside manner. He never talks down to you but responds to my questions even when nervously I ask him the same thing over again. I had 2 bunion surgerieswithin 3 years

Oh my gosh. Dr Vallone is a rare dr. He treated my mom with such respect I was impressed. Most doctors these days shoo you in/out. Her toe was infected from an ingrown toenail & she was in a lot of pain. He definitely knew what to do. Best doctor around.
Dr Vallone used state of the art scanning measurement equipment to profile the bottom of my feet for my orthotics where my last podiatrist had to cast my feet. Very personable and explains issues well. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend this office.
