I had my IUI procedure done today and I can say it wasn't the best experience. First, Dr Park was not even the one who performed the procedure. Second, they did not even tell us how many vials they used. Ever since the very first visit I didn't really feel any sympathy from anyone. I understand that they do the same thing everyday but they need to understand the level of stress of all the patients that goes to their clinic. Infertility is not a joke. All throughout the process, I was the one who's always reaching out to the medical assistant. They don't share any information without you asking for it. There's no guidance at all. Especially this is our first procedure, we are clueless about everything. The lady the brought us back to the exam room did not have any energy or anything. It felt like she didn't even want to be there. The NP's during my ultrasounds and procedure was not really informative. I have to ask exactly what they're doing for me to understand what's going on. I'm really hoping and praying that everything will work out good for us even our experience was not that great.

I came to SDFC wanting to be an egg donor and everyone here made it such a comfortable, smooth, and special process. This was my first time donating and I never felt nervous or uncomfortable with any part of it. The staff is beyond sweet, willing to answer any questions imaginable and always on time and efficient. I never waited a minute past my appointment time, in fact they brought me back early almost every time I had a visit! I drove 2 hours from Long Beach, each way for every appointment and it was absolutely worth it. The office is always clean and a comfortable environment.

Just want to add that thanks to SDFC, I'm pregnant after my second unmedicated IUI (the other clinic I had tried before wanted to push me straight into IVF--and it clearly wasn't needed!). Thank you Dr. Park, Cassandra, the woman who defrosts/prepares the sperm whose name escapes me, and the rest of the SDFC staff! Everyone was great!

I'm so blessed to be part of the donor program at SDFC! All the staff made me feel so welcome and safe. My entire donation experience went really smooth and I left my extraction feeling very well taken care of. Thank you to all the staff!

My experience with this clinic was horrible and I hope others reading this continue their search to other clinics around San Diego. Not only do they treat patients like a number but their nurses and staff are incompetent and rude. They were not able to help us and only added to our stress and disappointment. The cycle I had with Dr. Kettel and his nurse Amanda and it was the worst of all the 3 IVF cycles I've gone through. Their billing department is super shady on top of it all. For them being the most expensive treatment in the area, you will not get results or an experience that matches their price tag. Spare yourself the headache that is SDFC and look elsewhere.

Excuse the run on sentences and the misspelling, improper punctuations as this is a rant. This message is for all the couples who are experiencing infertility. Please do yourself a service and stay away from this practice. They don't want you to be pregnant and they don't care about you. Their practices are wrong. It's a business for them and their job is to get every dollar possible out of you. The DR's do not perform IUI's they have inexperienced nurse practitioners perform these procedures. No follow up ultrasound to look at the uterus after first failed iui, just straight to second iui. Front desk staff is rude. Dr's assistants don't follow up. As you wait for Nurse to start IUI procedure your spouse's sperm sample will be waiting around on the counter near the sink for 35 -40 minutes in the 80 degree room. Stay away, please please please. If you want to get pregnant STAY AWAY.

My experience at SDFC was unsatisfactory. I only got to see the doctor twice throughout my cycle, the first time was during consultation and the second time was the day of my retrieval. When I asked to speak to my doctor, they said the soonest availability she had was in three months - and we all know how precious each month is when going through fertility treatment.When I went in for my ultrasounds and bloodwork, I was rushed in and out and didn't feel like I could ask the nurse questions because she was in such a hurry. The instructions provided to me about how to inject the medication was also wrong. Luckily, the nurse was kind enough to hand draw instructions for me since the original instructions were not correct. Had I not inquired about it, I would have followed the wrong instructions. The accounting department also requires payment upfront (even if you have insurance that covers fertility). They won't return calls or answer questions until you submit payment. They will reimburse you when insurance sends them a check, which seems like a cash flow issue. I am currently with a different fertility clinic and they bill my insurance directly, which removes stress and anxiety from me - which is a HUGE pro because reducing stress from patients contributes to healthier eggs and increase changes for success.

How do I not give a SDFC 5+ stars that helped bring us our beautiful baby girl. From the moment we walked in we felt like we were in great hands. The staff at SDFC was amazing they became like family. Shaelyn went above and beyond in customer service

We love SDFC. Dr. Friedman is wonderful and so great to work with. The team at SDFC is fantastic and they are so supportive during such a challenging time. We were blessed with 2 miracle babies through our fertility journey and we have the team at SDFC to thank. I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs assistance in creating their family.

When I found doctor Park at 43, I was hopeless and discouraged after two different doctors had strongly recommended donor eggs, one refusing to treat me without them. From my initial consult with Dr. Park, she was optimistic and positive, thoroughly explaining the protocol she believed could help and how it would be different than my last two rounds. I'm so glad I trusted her, so much so that I drove down from Orange County for all my appointments. After 1 round of IVF and my first transfer I was pregnant and I'm currently sitting here with my 4 month old daughter. Needless to say Dr. Park is my angel. She and her staff were pleasant, efficient and supported me every step of the way. I can't thank them enough for my beautiful girl.
