My experience at SDNHIC has been amazing and an answer to prayer after years of struggling with fatigue, headaches, and hormonal imbalances. They address the whole body as well as environmental factors that could contribute negatively. But most importantly they care about each person and are always available to encourage and point you towards truth and hope. Their pricing is very reasonable as well. If I could give them 10 stars I would. San Diego is very blessed to have this clinic and Dr. Mills!

You will never meet another doctor like Dr. Mills. They treat almost everything! Believe it or not I use to to be highly allergic to cats and the doctor found a way to get me from sneezing and turning red around them to being able to go into my friends' houses without any reaction! This place is a holistic alternative to pharmaceuticals. What they will be treating you with is food not drugs so your body will be naturally healing itself! With the guidance of Dr. Mills, it is a step by step process but with patience and dedication you can achieve your health goals. Make sure you have plenty of time the first couple of visits. First time visit will be your standard process of what symptoms you're having along with some tests. The following visit will be your choice of a program and what supplements your need as an individual. After all that just follow the doctor's guidance and you will be seeing results in time. It took me a couple of months to see the results but it was definitely worth it! The program helped me lose weight, sleep better and have more energy overall. I had a friend visit from Texas and Douglas was the only chiropractor out of the many she has seen that was able to get her to be able to not only walk comfortably again but to be able to hike! Dr.Mills is currently treating a family member of mine with nerve damage which "normal" doctors say there is no cure. Will update once Dr.Mills cures them of nerve damage. Both doctors are very nice and will answer all questions you have. Parking is in the back next to a church. It is always a refreshing and healing experience with Dr. Mills, and Laura. They are so amazing to me and my family. They helped us with supplement, nutrition, diet, posture, exercises to do at home for the betterment of our lives. They are so knowledgeable and inspiring to improve. They genuinely care and love their patients and it shows in their professionalism as well as sharing their knowledge and their quality care. I grew up going to the chiropractor but when I went away to college I fell away. It had been 7 years since I got adjusted and I'm extremely picky about my chiropractors. I don't trust ones who don't address the soft tissue as well as the bones. Doug was my first chiropractor in 7 years and I will see him until I can't! My body has felt amazing. Doug has fixed the outside and Laura has fixed the inside. A year and a half ago I went off birth control, cold Turkey. My hormones were not where I wanted and I was seeing a lot of acne which I had never had, not even in high school. Through NRT Laura removed impurities in my body and balanced my hormones. All in a non invasive way. These techniques are amazing and I refer all my clients to this practice.

I am someone who has always struggled with incredibly painful and uncomfortable bloating. Would go days at a time without using the restroom and would hold pain in my lower belly after I ate many foods. A little over a month ago I was introduced to Laura by a good friend of mine, she was so welcoming right away and immediately gave me hope that I could fix this problem. Shortly after 1 month I can not only see improvement but most importantly I feel so so much better. I'm using the bathroom regularly, I'm not suffering after I eat, my stomach isn't embarrassingly bulging at the end of the day. I still have a long road ahead of me but I can say that I am so grateful to have put my trust into Laura, I feel great!

I love to recommend these guys every chance I get. I had back pain most of my life. And as anyone who's dealt with back pain will tell you, you will eventually try everything. After a series of treatments with Dr. Mills and some minor lifestyle changes he suggested, I'm happy to say I've been pain-free for over 5 years now. It was always such a pleasure going in and seeing him and his staff. I truly miss seeing them. I don't miss the pain though. I will always be grateful to them!
