San Ysidro Health Center's Online Review Report Card

I've been trying to get an in person appointment to see my primary physician Dr Carmen Valezquez and when I finally did she up and cancelled it! I have high blood pressure and I haven't had it monitered for two years now! I'm fully vaccinated and I have a booster as well but she still won't see me. I need to get dental work done but on account of my very high blood pressure they can't risk doing anything till I see Dr Valezquez about my high blood pressure. I also need to get a mammogram and every time I check with San Diego Imaging to see if they have received a referral from her yet it's always no and I have to call you guys to about the referral where I have to leave a message with my phone number yet nobody has gotten back to me about it. I'm trying to be proactive about my health but it's difficult when my doctor doesn't participate.

I used to love San Ysidro Health And I do still love my doctor in the Otay Clinic. For many many years I got the most excellent care. However, they have really gone downhill. You have to call the call center all they offer to do is send a message to the doctors office which I can do the exact same thing in the patient portal and it’s a waste of time because no one ever responds to the messages whether they send them or I do. You can’t call the office directly. You can’t talk to a nurse or a medical assistant in the office. You can’t talk to your doctor. It really sucks! I feel like there is a total lack of care now and I will be looking for a dr. with a private Practice where I can call the office directly and get the care that I need and deserve. Now I do want to say again that Dr. Rosado Is an amazing doctor and I have nothing bad to say about him. I just can’t ever get in touch with him or the office when I need to

They could do their job. My company is requesting medical info to get approved, so I can get payed, and keep my job. But this place is either unwilling or just will not do it. They also told me my insurance doesn’t cover my upcoming Apts, my insurance company said they do. If this place actually cares about its patient. But it seems they don’t.

I was a patient here for over 30 years. After San Ysidro Health took over the customer service is so bad that I am looking for a new primary. It takes over 30 days to get an appointment. You can't be more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, but they will keep you waiting for hours to be seen. My last appointment I was canceled due to the Doctor running late. Then they wanted me to take more time off work to wait around for them again.

La nueva centro de salud de urgencias de chula vista muy mal servicio dos doctores para tanta gente mejor no amplien sus clinicas y contraten mas doctores !! Ademas los empleados muy sangrones que pena antes comunity health center era lo mejorcito yo me cambiare despues de 15 años !
