Advertised as relaxing, near the beach. Not near the beach whatsoever. Visited the place and looks very decrepit and unwelcoming. Tried to schedule a tour three times, even went to the place and rang the bell several times, no one came. Kept receiving calls just for them to hang up, saying someone else will call which ended up being hours later. Received a call for a tour hours after I left the area. The whole process was very frustrating. While I didn’t receive treatment here, the whole intake process was a mess.

Not all treatment episodes are successful. However, good facilities and even more important good counselors, doing something different, are out there so don't stop looking. I was lucky to find both. Dave H. and my whole treatment team worked collaboratively to go above and beyond to create a treatment plan specifically tailored to my needs. This is succeeding where the same old things from the past keep on failing. It's tough out there for all of us but there's light at the end of the tunnel. Keep pushing forward.

I would like to give a full 5 stars, however, that is a very high standard to achieve. So, really it is more like 4.5. Ups and downs with any human designed and human run program which deals with many dynamics of each resident. I can say this with full confidence and conviction if somebody asks: "was it worth it?". Yes. Enter with the willingness to consider other aspects of yourself which may have been pushed down, or suppressed. And, be open to all aspects of the approach provided. Take ownership of it. Everyone close to me saw a marked change in me. I feel a tremendous relief from what pulled my down...crushed me. Do the work. Own it. Anyone considering it...go for it.

Dr. Stacy Zlotnick & Tim Doyle are two of the most patient people I have ever met. They listen to your issues and go out of their way to help. If the fit is not right they adjust to what does. Thank you Dr. Zlotnick & Mr. Doyle, you have made my life much easier. Without your help I would be a lost individual.

Solara has been a blessing. From the moment I reached out, the caring and welcoming staff. The hardest step was admitting I was not equipped to deal with the mental health challenges I was facing, if this is where you are too… give them a call.

Solara is a great facility! I’ve done residential and other treatments before and this is the best I’ve seen in this industry. The amenities and the wide variety of available treatments put Solara far above everything else available, especially for veterans. The staff are all so wonderful (especially Sharon) and I’ve been extremely well taken care of since the day I arrived. I would highly recommend Solara to any veteran seeking treatment!

Great experience overall. Amazing staff and living conditions, you’re basically put into a studio apartment, given 2 amazing meals a day, 7 days a week by on site chefs. The work is a good mix of holistic and professional work with days being very chill overall. I would 100% recommend this place to all veterans, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

Extremely helpful without their intervention and therapy I doubt that I would be here today. They helped to restore hope, happiness and joy to my life. They gave me skills to navigate life’s ups and downs without going into tailspins. In short a miracle.

This residential program is great. I was taught how to manage my PTSD symptoms in a healthier manner. The staff were attentive to my needs. My therapist Stacy provided insight into my symptoms and way of thinking. She was caring and patient. I would highly recommend her. I also want to recognize other staff on sight, Moe, Tsvetelina, Glenda, Kathleen, Yodit and Molly. They were all amazing. The food and accommodations were great.

Outstanding care, innovative therapies that transformed my life. I owe them everything they saved my life. I was in a downward spiral of depression and hopelessness; they turned things around inspiring hopelessness.
