Hello. Just wanted to say that. I had an awesome experience with Dr. Allsing. After All the negative feed back I was receiving from different people about the surgery procedure and recovery .im pleased to say that I had no complications at all. I was in at 5am & home by 6pm , the same day. I ask ? Does it get any better than that Troy

I had my knee replaced last December by Dr Allsing and haven't had any problems with it. He and his staff are great and very friendly. Definitely recommend him and his office if you're in need of a replacement.

Dr Allsing is a nice guy and have been going to him for years.The new staff is very rude every time I call. It is usually a female and I'm not sure if it is the same one but she/they are always unprofessional. Makes me want to change Doctors all together. Bad for business.

I am a 66-year-old male. Dr. Steve Allsing recently performed a Total Knee Replacement on my left knee. He had previously performed a TKR on my left knee several years ago. I could not be happier with both my knees! I enthusiastically and totally recommend Dr. Allsing, and the entire Allsing Orthopedics team, for anyone that needs TKR surgery! Like other reviewers, my knees were experiencing arthritis, and a great deal of pain. Since I was walking unnaturally with my damaged knees, I developed sciatica, which at times left me unable to move when I stood up or took a wrong step. I was told during one of my sciatica PT sessions - "Phil, fix your knee, and it will fix your sciatica". That is exactly what happened! I had knee surgery, and the sciatica disappeared - twice! Now, in my experiences with both knees, and I guess I am an expert on TKR recovery now, is that recovery is not fast. It takes about 3 months post-surgery to really start to get around, go up and down stairs fairly normally, go on long walks, etc. The first three weeks were pretty painful, had to use a walker, etc. Just getting around and trying to do everyday tasks is hard and challenging, but it gets better. Then a cane for about 3 weeks, and every day you notice you can do a little bit more. Then, after that, just working up to a more normal pace. I have to emphasize two things - recovery is constant but slow, and in my case, the rewards and benefits are spectacular! At about one-year post-surgery on my first TKR, I really felt nothing unnatural in my TKR knee. If you are on the fence, or afraid of the surgery, I urge you to take that big step, work with the superb staff at Allsing orthopedics, and schedule the surgery. The staff will walk you through the whole process, and the joint team at Sharp Hospital is also exceptional! Time is NOT your friend! Let me repeat that - time is NOT your friend! The sooner you get it done, the better it is for your recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Steven Allsing and his PA Scott! I have had 4 major joint replacements (2 hips, 2 knees) without any complications. I seriously would be in a wheel chair at this time, significantly limiting my mobility! They are highly professional, and personable, and caring; consequently, explaining each step of surgery and recovery! Fantastic doctors!!!

In 2020 I had both of my knees replaced (TKR) by Dr. Allsing. I am very pleased with both of the surgeries. I can now walk with no pain! I feel like I have my life back and I owe it all to Dr. Allsing and his very competent, caring staff. I would recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedic surgery.

I would highly recommend Dr. Allsing for anyone needing shoulder, hip, or knee surgery. I had both of my knees replaced last year and could not be more satisfied! I can finally walk with no pain all thanks to Dr. Allsing, his amazing staff, and the Mako robotics!

Dr. Allsing and his team have been amazing! They did an incredible job on the hardware removal (intramedullary nail and screws) in my left tibia. All incisions look well stitched and sealed with minimal additional scarring. The procedure was quick and successful. I trust and would highly recommend Dr. Allsing for future surgeries. To top it all off, his staff is very kind and personable. Dr. Allsing himself is very sweet and honest. He tells it like it is but also makes sure you’re not just physically ok, but also emotionally healthy too. Surgeries can be difficult on people’s emotional/mental health. He takes a few extra minutes to make sure you’re ok. Great guy.
