List of Walter K Nahm Md's Reviews
The doctor and his medical staff are great once you're being treated. But there's always a long wait from check in to getting treated, in my experience, regardless of you being on time of not. Three stars since the front office staff is not the best, and the time management in the office seems to be a bit whack.
I just left my appointment and I am crying. No one prepared me for "the doctor will take off your paper gown and then grab at your bra and underwear. He will pull them down and look and prod without a word".I was standing in my underwear when a female assistant just opened the door to the hallway and let people walking past see me, my gown had already been discarded and I had zero way to cover myself. I went in to ask about a mole on my face and that concern was immediately dismissed, I was told I would be participating in a clinical trial and given paperwork for it. If you have any trauma in your past, especially physical, be wary. That man pulling my underwear down without any warning set me back
Treats staff with disrespect, has an ego and a god complex. Most disgusting human being I have ever come across. Rude for no reason. Under pay staff. If you see him disrespect his staff, speak up. No one deserves that, not for what he’s paying them. Out of moral reason, there are a million better dermatologist who are deserving of your money and time.
I called the number since my health insurance referred me to this location but unfortunately I called more than six times and no one has answered my calls I even left a voicemail with my number and didn't receive a call back
I went here about a year ago for a few moles that seemed worrisome. Dr. Nahm removed 3 of them, and one he took a deeper biopsy from that required stitches. He was okay at first, seemed somewhat interested in my concerns. I came back for a follow up for the deeper mole with stitches. I told him he wasn't healing right (I am a nurse and know when something doesn't look right) yet he refused to say anything was wrong.I went home. The stitches came out and it opened up, got infected, and had pus coming out. I went back, he refused to say it was infected and wouldn't prescribe me antibiotics. He blamed it on me for my stitches opening saying I must've moved around too much (I made sure to take it easy for 2 weeks after). Since he refused to treat it, it started to grow dead skin. He had to debride it and still NEVER admitted it was infected. He didn't want to admit he was wrong. I got a rash on it after the bandaid he put on it. I had to come back (i had been about 6 times now) and he was super rude to me about it. He lifted my shirt up without asking me for permission and told me it was fine. I couldn't believe how rude he was. And was so condescending to his staff. One time one of the assistants accidentally bumped into some equipment and he literally yelled at her in front of me for about 5 minutes. I couldn't believe it. I asked the girl after if she was okay and she said he yells at everyone like that. Don't EVER GO here. Now, I have a HUGE scar on my back from a tiny little mole he removed and didn't treat it right. People always ask me if i got shot or something because of how it looks. Now i'll have to pay one day to get the scar removed hopefully. Dr Nahm should not be able to practice. He was a horrible man.
Deserve 0 star I had a long wait for 1 hour & 25 min to see the Doctor. Also very unprofessional nurses as well Never recommend
After running across this, I also felt compelled to chime in. Have been a patient for a decade, have had more procedures than haircuts! Staff are the absolute goods and don’t get me started on Doc D or Doc Nahm. I also have melanoma in my past, so not only do I require the best, I’m an old, demanding, half metal sea captain who’s never suffered fools, I know they’re the best! Funny thing about “negative reviewers”…..”they” can never quite figure out why they “keep meeting these rude people?”
I have seen Dr Nahm off and on for about 2 years maybe 3 years and i really don't have any big complaints. Just recently i went to a other place and they had a small waiting area and it was packed. Dr Nahm waiting room is clean and spacious. If I had 1 complaint, it would just be the wait time but a good doctor takes its time with a patient and answer all their questions and concerns. I read some of the reviews and one thing i loved about him but dont get anymore is zapping of small neck area tags. It hurts obviously but its nice knowing he goes out of his way just to zapp some off, on every other visit. I
My wife and I have been patients of Dr Nahm for several years and are extremely pleased with our experience with him and his staff. He is a highly skilled professional and with out a doubt the best dermatologist we’ve ever had. He is also a very nice person.
Took my 88 y/o Mom for a f/u appointment. In the past she'd gone in on her own and I couldn't figure-out why she would be gone for so long. We arrived promptly for her appointment. After over an hour, we still hadn't seen the Doctor. No apologies... no consideration for time. Finally showed up after 1:15min wait. Rude, condescending, arrogant... had to move Mom to another room - 1:40min after the scheduled appointment. We finally finished - 2 hrs. No post visit care/instructions...had to ask for an 88 y/o with declining health, dementia, etc. Mom had been in the hospital between visits, had a pacemaker implanted, was in the process of being moved to assisted living... so lots going on. They just arbitrarily set a f/u visit without asking for availability. Trust me, I understand stuff happens, especially in health care, but attitude and bedside manner matters. Maybe a good Derm but no people skills. Absolutely in the wrong business - missing the "care" in Healthcare.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
