San Dimas Community Hospital's Online Review Report Card

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I have the utmost respect for first responders, nurses, Doctors and surgeons but this was a horrible experience. I unfortunately had to come here because my friend cut her finger pretty badly and it wouldn't stop bleeding. We arrived around 9:30pm and she was seen 3 times within two hours but nothing was done to stitch up her finger.By the time the doctor went to see her it was 1:30am. He was completely unprofessional and wasted lots of time. Was very rough scrubbing her wound, so incompetent he didn't know how to put in only TWO stitches which is the only amount needed and super glue for the other finger. I mean, is there even a workflow or process for procedures here?! Also now her cuts look worse than they did when we arrived.  We are currently the only people sitting in the waiting but it's been over 4 hours since we arrived! I know that Covid and other emergencies take priority and have altered the way the process but transparency, professionalism and COMPETENT. And they took forever to process all the paperwork, i mean why wasn't someone handling this while she was getting her finger stitched up?! Again this is TWO small stitches and apparently they can't even do that job efficiently! I will never recommend this place to anyone again and highly encourage people to find another hospital if they want the best care for their loved ones. This is just unacceptable and not the way patients should be treated.

It's my first time being a patient at this hospital in particular the outpatient surgery unit. I will say when they do the Covid test they really do touch your brain. Not fun. However, I felt like Minki (I believed her name was) and everyone else tried to make me feel comfortable. When I woke up after surgery, I had a massive headache and they took care of me quickly to try to alleviate some of the pain. They also gave me some pudding and cranberry juice. They followed up with me a few days later to make sure I was healing. And signed a get well card. Overall, despite the reason why I was there they took care of me well.

never ever will I ever go back to this establishment again I would rather die in the street then to go back to this place first of all it took me six hours being in the ER to not  get results so I decided to leave. Crazy thing is especially during these Covid times you would think that they would sanitize in between patients well they accidentally gave up my room to another patient without sanitizing it and not changing out the bedding or anything and then gave me back that same room with stains on the sheet left from that patient which was obviously sick because it was a child who was crying profusely and you could tell they were sick so they never know if I could be a carrier of COVID or the baby could be a COVID carrier so let's just hope my pregnant self didnt catch whatever the baby had . Hopefully the baby is fine but still.

stay away from this place i would rather be seen by a homeless bum on the street these people are tyrants and i will be reporting to the state. unprofessional what kind of place is this ??? they charged me 20k for some scans that were covered by insurance now they claiming they will send to collections when i already paid. !!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY OR ANYONE TO THIS FACILITY!!! Doctors don't call you, nurses lie, We were called and told our father wasn't doing well. When we got to the hospital no one was waiting for us I walked in to his room to find him DEAD, all week we were kept from seeing your father because he was an isolation, just find him dead in a room with another poor old man whom nobody paid attention to for the two hours, while we were in the room with our dead father's body, So much for isolation.

This place is filled with dirt bags, and the most unethical people that I have ever met. They don't care about their patients, or there relatives.     One of my best friends was there for covid. These people didn't even try to treat him. They didn't know what to do, how to treat, or even how to prescribe.   I firmly believe that if he was some where else he would of survived. These guys just don't care!!!!   I hope this place gets closed down!!!

Where do I start? A very good friend of ours went in there for shortness of breath from covid. He was told in the ER that he had mild pneumonia and was admitted. Wife couldn't see him since he tested positive for over 2 weeks. She would FaceTime him almost all day, everyday. He stated that nurses don't even go in his room to check up on him or even answer the call light. Nurses are careless. Doctors are careless. Also both very unprofessional. The wife did not get regular updates on him. She had to call constantly to get the nurses to even answer the phone. And when they did answer, they were rude and told her they were too busy to answer her questions. He had a few events that his oxygen came out while sleeping and the nurses didn't even know until the wife called the nurses station (again after multiple attempts) to get them to check on him and fix his oxygen. I am a nurse myself and I cannot believe the lack of care and negligence from these doctors and nurses. No ethics whatsoever. I can go on about the the lack of care and negligence this hospital provided to our friend. Long story short, after being there for a month, unfortunately, our friend passed away just this last Monday and I'm pretty sure it was from the staff's lack of care and negligence. I'm sure he would still be here with us if he was taken to another hospital. I hope this hospital closes its doors for good as these doctors and nurses should not be practicing and they all should give up their licenses and never touch another human being ever again. Please do not take your loved ones here.

This is the worst place to put a dog let alone a person. I know that this is a rough time but still a human need help.The doctors are never around and you ask for them and get know information from anyonePlease never let anyone you love go to this place.

Had a friend's husband go in there with COVID.  His COVID care was atrocious and his room was filthy.  When the wife questioned these things, she was told to leave or they would call the police.  The treating doctor was rude and told her he didn't have time to deal with her; that he had more important things to do.  Well I guess he did, because the husband died .  I wonder how much COVID money they got from the CARES Act.

This was a terrible experience for me and my mom yesterday very bad service very scary situation they left my mom in hall way for 7 hours with covid patients every where. Very rude staff it is better to drive one hour to any other hospital.
