LOVE THIS TEAM. They have great communication, super informative, quick responses, very thorough, professional, nice, and very proficient. What I love about dr. Lai. She is a very good female business role model for women. She is friendly and nice with a serious-professional twist. When she goes over your notes and results, she says her thoughts and mental process out loud so you understand the conclusion she comes too. She has helped make me more healthy in ways other doctors haven't looked into. I am currently figuring out if I have a rare blood disorder. She looked into it for me. I can't tell you how big of a deal that is because most doctors don't bother to do that if they are unfamiliar with something. She really truly cares. She's not one to coddle you but she definitely leaves you with the feeling of being taken care of. I couldn't be more relieved to have her as my general practitioner. Definitely stay on top of your appointments because dr. Lai and her team are helping and changing lives over there. Don't waste a time slot that could have helped someone else.

LOVE THIS TEAM. I have a bit of a mystery diagnosis going on since I was about 5 or younger. I'm 33 now. I've been to so many doctors all over the US. Dr. Lai, Liz and Victoria are amazing. They have great communication, super informative, quick responses, very thorough, professional, nice, and very proficient. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes (still way quicker than most dr. offices) during the appointment but come on-it's a doctors office and it blows my mind how organized and on top of things they are.What I love about dr. Lai. She is a very good female business role model for women. Doctor does not accept Medicare which feels to me very discriminatory toward persons 65 and above. For a functional medicine doctor to eliminate a group of people who happen to be up in years feels completely not holistic. Furthermore, they will not accept cash payment from a person on Medicare.

Who cares about long waits, cluttered office, staff issues, walkie talkies etc... WHAT REALLY MATTERS is that Dr. Lai fixes people! My improved health far out weighs all these superficial issues other reviewers have complained about. If you want answers and healthy solutions to healing Dr. Lai is the one to see.

I am more happy with Dr Lai than other docs I have had over a long period of time. She may seem a little gruff at first. Once I was her patient for a while, I found her to be kind and caring, tho sometimes rushed (cuz pop. She listens to symptoms and revisits next visit to see if there's progress. It's a team effort. Wait can be long, but that shows a lot about the time she's willing to put into getting you diagnosed/treated. Can speed it up with assistant interviews prior to seeing her. I take several supplements because of gut problems + a genetic issue. I have felt better over the last few years due to her. She looks for the cause, & oft tries less invasive stuff first. She needs our feedback to move forward with treatment, but she believed my symptoms when old doc blew me off. If you don't want have an active roll in your own health & do the work, won't convey symptom changes after treatment, she's not right for you. It's really a health partnership and it's interactive.

I read the reviews and I can say that I was a little afraid to give her a try because of them but since she was referred to me by a friend, I went ahead. I can tell you that the patient coordinator took such great care of me and was so on top of it! She made everything so streamlined and then I had the apt with Dr. Lai and she was so nice! She smiled a lot and was so spot on and picked up on things that hadn't ever been noticed before by other doctors, I had been too. She listened well and had some great insight. I haven't started her recommendations yet but I can say my experience this far has been 100% and I am so glad I gave her a try!

Dr lai is a very professional and experienced she takes her time and she keep up with my health regularly , She tries her best to get me off medicine and gives supplements instead , she’s very respectful and her staff are all very nice and friendly Since I’ve been seeing her , my health improved a lot and I’m feeling much better than before where I had many health issues Thank you doctor lai

Dr Lai is one of the best holistic doctor I've met in my entire life. She has been treating me for more than 10 years. I've had issues with sleep disorders, thyroid, hormone imbalances, autoimmune, and was able to heal them without medication or drastic prescription methods. She genuinely knows that I refuse to take prescription medicines and have worked with me in food, supplements, physical exercise, to heal me not just physical health but mental and emotional well being. I have sent her at least 5 other patients and the all love her methods. Thank God for her.

Dr. Lai is thorough in her research of the patient's health by regular and broad lab tests, and shows sincerity in her concern for my well-being. She offers the balance of western medicine with quality natural products. The products are quite pricey, and worth comparing with other sources. As for the office itself, there is much lacking. It's good that the doctor is very interested in our health, and is willing to take a little longer in a visit than some others; however, the wait is usually about 45 minutes, and the place needs to be cleaned and organized. The bathroom is often without paper products, and instead of repairing the loose front door and toilet, sticky notes are placed on the toilet and a trash can is placed outside the front door to discourage use; yet the door flies open on its own. The place is in the sun, and therefore often uncomfortably over-warm. Staff is replaced often, suggesting possibly not-so-professional management. The use of walkie-talkies to share private information from the exam room to lobby/office for all to hear is not very ethical.
