Gina Johnson's Online Review Report Card

I moved here from Los Angeles a few months ago and am fortunate to have found Dr. Higgins' practice. Dr. Higgins and her staff are incredibly friendly, caring and professional. They have me set up on a regime including keeping my teeth healthy with my custom night-guard, for people like me who grind their teeth at night. I would recommend her to anyone. Everything is state-of-the-art and I can honestly say (coming from LA) she is the "Beverly Hills" of dentists here in Lexington.

Very friendly, professional staff that makes you feel welcomed upon arrival. They are very thorough in their diagnosis and provide a detailed treatment plan. Dr. Higgins is super nice and has the best interest of the patient. Morgan did an excellent job repairing my fractured tooth! I can't say enough about my experience with this office!

I have been a patient for 8 years and would never go anywhere else. Dr. Johnson-Higgins is brilliant and caring. The staff are professional, kind and gentle and I always feel very well taken care of. Most importantly, my teeth are healthy and strong!

Dr. Johnson cares so much about her patients. She always listens to you, as a parent, and gives you her best advise.

Dr. Gina Johnson Higgins is a great dentist. The most caring and compassionate dentist I have ever gone to. I started going to her several years ago when she was on Euclid Avenue. I was going to another dentist in Lexington at the time and one Friday afternoon I chipped a tooth and it was giving me quite a bit of pain. I called my dentist's office and told the receptionist my problem and didn't think I could stand the pain until Monday. To which she replied "the Doctor didn't have any time to see me, but he could see me Monday afternoon." Needless to say That made me quite unhappy, especially since I had been his patient for 5 years.I didn't know what I was going to do. I got my insurance card out to see what dentists were recommended by them and I saw Dr. Higgins' name and her office was just down the street from where I worked. I called and she told me to come in and she would take a look at my tooth and see what she could do to help me.Needless to say, I ran there as fast as I could. She recommended a root canal be done (which my regular dentist had been suggesting but never got it done). Dr. Higgins said she would do preliminary work for that and I could come back on Monday and she would complete the process.When I left the office I had a prescription for pain and her CELL phone number in case I had any trouble before Monday.I had to call her Saturday afternoon and she met me at her office and she took care of it. She went beyond the call of duty and she wasn't my dentist - BUT SHE BECAME MY DENTIST THAT DAY!!!I had to have a tooth pulled last Tuesday and Dr. Higgins personally called me on Wednesday to see if I was doing ok and had me come in today (Wednesday) to check it.What more can I say? She is a rare person in today's professional world.

Don't always like having dental work done but love coming to Dr Higgins! My family has been going there for close to 7 years.. All 5 kids love it too! They provide a family like experience with fresh pastries, cozy environment (a blanket is given if desired) and super friendly staff!Dr Higgins went above and beyond when we had a dental accident with our son.

For more than forty years, I feared the dentist and hated when I had to go. Now I don't mind going at all. If you have fears that are keeping you from dental work or maintenance, go here. They don't lecture, shame, or judge. They do listen, explain, and offer options for minimizing pain and fears. I wish I had found this practice years ago. Dr. Higgins and her staff are my heroes. They did what I was sure no one could; they made visiting the dentist a good experience.Edit (12/13/17) Where did I get this amazing doughnut? Well, at my dentist's office, of course! How is this practice not listed as #1 in Lexington? Every single person here is caring, compassionate, professional, and accommodating. If you are afraid, whether of pain or judgment, just GO. Look, they have doughnuts...how scary can it be?

Dr. Johnson was an amazing OBGYN for my second pregnancy and personally delivered my daughter in 2011. She is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She saw me for aches and pains that most of the time were normal but at one point eneded up in a round of medication to stop pre-term labor at 25 weeks. She kept me calm thru that ordeal and helped me deliver a healthy baby girl at 38 weeks. She is a very busy OBGYN delivering her own patients so sometimes a longer than expected wait can happen. In those few times I was able to see her Nurse for routine visits and followup with Dr Johnson over the phone or by another visit as necessary. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson, she is a wonderful OBGYN.

Loved her! She is so thoughtful and personable.
