List of Adam Bellamy's Reviews
Steer clear. Crooks. They charged me for a flu vaccine Ive never taken. 50 dollars for the vaccine itself and 50 more dollars for administering it! Really? Their billing department is a joke, youll never reach a real person there. This happened back in November and I still havent been able to receive a refund. Cherry on the top of the cake: they also charged my insurance for that vaccine. Seriously: STAY AWAY from this doctor and his clinic.
Was seen by Adam Bellamy for treatment Irongate slammed on my finger went to Adams office finger bleeding gash he looked at my finger from about 6 feet away said my finger was not broke and didnt need stitches few days later finger still bleeding went to urgent care urgent care Took xrays which Adam Bellamy did not do said my finger was broken in 3 places and was infected had to have surgery to remove the infection and straighten the bone in my finger I urge any person who has serious injuries do not be seen by Adam Bellamy he is a horrible doctor my finger now has a permanent scar with scar tissue.
I could not say enough kind words about Dr. Bellamy, I recently moved to the Bay Area and being a full time student I had a laundry list of things to talk him about due to not finding a primary doctor and he was so patient. He didnt focus on one thing over another and was very thorough. I have had a lot of medical issues throughout my life and coming across a good doctor is so rare. I have struggled with anxiety for five years and explain your emotions to a doctor never feels comfortable but he made me feel seen and heard, I cried after the appointment because I was so happy that someone has finally not called me crazy and recognized me for me. I would highly recommend him and his staff was super kind as well.
After a horrible interaction over a year ago where dr Bellamy made a bad call that jeopardized my health, I was contacted today by phone and email cold calling me for appointments. Unacceptable care, unacceptable treatment of patients. Save your time and money, find a different clinic we all deserve a doctor who cares.
First off, hats off to Sharleen at the reception. She definitely juggles a lot in the office but made my first visit to the office such a breeze (even though whoever scheduled my appt messed up on my reason for visiting). I also needed some documents post my visit, and Sharleen was prompt & professional.Dr. Adam Bellamy saw me for a follow up appt after a bad car accident I was involved in. He was thorough and empathetic. I dont agree with several of the reviews below, as he was genuinely a nice guy. I look forward to working with Dr. Adam and his staff again in the future.
He seems eager to get the appointment over with...Very condescending, and doesnt take things seriously...you know when you can tell somebody isnt truly listening or empathizing when you speak? Thats him. I came because I havent been able to breathe through my nose for SIX MONTHS and he wasnt going to even bother to look in my nose until I asked...and then didnt even look in my throat even though I told him Ive had throat issues too. I had to ask him to do his job and give me more information about my health, and that vulnerability made me tear up. Well its not cancerous. Great, thats not even why I am here. Again, doesnt take things seriously. And wont prescribe you more than a nasal spray despite length of sickness and severity. The nurse who takes your weight at the beginning is sweet; so are the front desk ladies.
Dr. Bellamy is super awkward and rude. He doesnt believe in adult ADHD and claims there is no evidence supporting stimulate treatment. Despite decades of research and my own personal experience, I was made to feel like a drug abuser. The nurse weighed me in (right at the front desk) and made comments about my weight. Thanks for that you freaking weirdo. Im officially finding a new doctor.
So after my exerience today at Dr Bellamys office, I felt the need to create an account and write a review for this sorry excuse for a doctor. The only reason I chose him in the first place, is because he was very close to my house and on my list of doctors to choose from through my works insurance plan. So about Dr Bellamy...this was my second visit in 3 months to try to figure out a very odd, yet extremely painful foot issue Im having. Long story short, he gave me the same uninterested respone he gave me the first time. After probing him for more info, he gave me run around responses again, then told me the nurse would be in to see me shortly. After waiting for 15 minutes, the nurse, who barely speaks English, tried to draw blood from my veins. After 2 failed attempts on my left arm, she was eventually succesful on my right. I have not had to go to the doctor too often in my adult life, so I guess Ive never had a pleasant experience at a doctors office. But I can promise you, you will not have one at this douche bags office. 2 thumbs, way down!!!
I went to Doctor Bellamy for a physical and to get a general feel for how I was doing physically and what I could do better. First off, he tried to hard sell me on 3 different immunizations that I should be taking. As soon as it became clear that I was off put by his awkward salesmanship it felt like he was immediately annoyed that he had to be there. He went through the motions, but it felt like he was bothered that he still had to be in the room. When asked if I was a smoker, I told the truth that at a party I wouldnt turn down the communal cigarette, but that it equated to maybe a whole one in the past several months. This gave me an active smoker rating. When I asked about health topics he provided the bare minimum of input, saying maybe 10 seconds of info followed by a bored anything else?Overall it was a very awkward experience, and I will not be using Doctor Bellamys services again. I hope him the best and that he learns to empathize a bit more with his clients, it felt as thou the second he knew he couldnt sell me prescriptions that he wanted to be literally anywhere else.
Doesnt do a great job of feeling your pain n communicating any sympathy. If anything, he seems more annoyed n bothered. Tried to open up about a personal health problem n end result he used that info just to finish n dismiss me. Incredibly Rude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
