Amy Chen's Online Review Report Card

My son has been coming here for about 2 years now and we love it here. We live an hour away but have to come back here since Dr Amy Chen is fantastic. She is wonderful with children and done an amazing job for my son's teeth. He has lots of cavities even with the front teeth, we had to stain it black to seize the cavities. Now he's big enough to sit still to cover those teeth. Now they look as beautiful as real teeth. He's very happy and have big smile now. We're very pleased as well.

Dr. Chen has quite an impressive resume, a graduate from UC Berkeley and UCSF. While Dr. Pang was seeing Andrew, Abigail was being seen by Dr. Chen. I have to say, she is the sweetest woman ever. I was pleasantly surprised when I snuck in and saw Abigail brushing a stuffed animal's teeth with a big, stuffed toothbrush while being treated by Dr. Chen. I can tell instantly that she has a knack for working with kids.She's very kind, warming, and patient with kids. Although it's my first time meeting her today, I knew I can trust Abigail with her for the next 10+ years. Brought both my children in here for some extensive work and was pleasantly surprised. One of my sons has a huge fear of the Dentist, but Dr. Amy was very patient and gentle -- usually little children are intimidated in a unfamiliar atmosphere and around a new person (let alone a Dentist) but both of my kids warmed up to her almost immediately. Dr. Amy obviously sensed the nervousness from both my children and took her time to explain what she was doing and was very sweet and nurturing throughout both entire procedures.....she's absolutely wonderful!

Dr Amy Chen has been a god send for us, our oldest boy had a traumatic experience at his first dentist years ago (you can read about it in my yelp history).We had to hop around a few pediodontists but he was never comfortable after his first experience which was horrific for him I'm sure. Dr Chen is extremely patient and truly amazing with children, she has done multiple procedures for both our sons (3 and 5) and they actually enjoy seeing her.The facility is very well kept and has children patients in mind, from the decor, the televisions, the array of DVD movies, and the cool vending machine toys at the end of the visit. If your child is apprehensive about the dentist or had a poor experience then I highly recommend giving Dr Chen a try.
