Writing this review on behalf of my mother who does not have a yelp account. I have been a patient of Dr. Demas for a couple years now. Dr. Demas has been the most thorough and thoughtful PCP I have ever had. During appointments she listens to what I have to say, takes the time to ensure that I understand what is going on and truly makes me feel like she is a partner in my health. When I reach out to her with questions, her responses are very timely. As some of you may know, there has been difficulty with obtaining the COVID vaccine. I am not the best with technology and she helped me coordinate and complete the vaccine series! I believe everyone deserves to have a doctor like Dr. Demas. I have already referred my friends to her and would definitely recommend her. Dr. Demas deserves more than 5 stars!

You never get to see the doctor, they always pass you off to a nurse practitioner.

Dr. Demas has been my doctor for twenty years. In addition to general care, she has helped me lose weight and avoid other serious health issues. When I faced a potentially fatal problem, she acted quickly and decisively to insure I had the best care. This literally saved my life. Over the years her referrals have also been excellent. I value her expertise and have faith in her judgment. I know she cares and has my best interests at heart. She is my doctor.

Her office has gotten multiple diagnoses wrong for me, and her bedside manner could be improved upon. Overall, an ok doctor, but Ill probably switch GPs.

I have gone to Dr Demas for 5 years now. I thought I liked her because of her ability to talk about life and ask questions about work, kids, and social things. HOWEVER. I went to her last week and her bluntness struck a nerve with me and I will never go back. When I told her I had a glass of wine every night, she proceeded to tell me I was drinking poison on a daily basis and that I had a drinking problem. She then told me that Eastern Medicine was BS and that it is the cause for ER visits. She also said that Marin moms love the edibles and that I should stop taking vitamins like vitamin D and E because I am healthy and Im fine. I just thought that her table manors were very unprofessional and that I left feeling like an alcoholic with a drinking problem which is just comical. She also eluded to my kids causing me to drink and that maybe I should go back to work? Sorry, but I consider parenting work.

Anita Demas is a horrible doctor who I wouldnt recommend to anyone who isnt in perfect health. Her other reviews back me up on this. I have a disability and she accused me of being hysterical and told me I was perfectly healthy. Ive had to see a lot of doctors in my time, but she is by far the worst.
