Arya Derm's Online Review Report Card

I originally went to Dr. Krishnan 10+ years ago when I lived in SF, and she successfully treated me then for some minor issues. Since then, I've moved away from SF, and over the past 10 years, I have seen a few other dermatologists for some minor skin issues, but none of them were able to address my chief concerns or provide treatments that were effective. I found that I was paying a lot of money and wasting time (I'm a working mom with 3 kids so time is precious) on these derm offices that were providing ineffective treatment. Unfortunately, I could not remember Dr. Krishnan's first or last name! THANKFULLY, I was doing some purging and happened to FIND the old hand-written instructions she had written for me 10+ years ago with her full name on the letterhead! So even though I don't live in SF anymore, I've decided that the drive is worth it because overall, I save money and time going to her than trying to find a good dermatologist in my area through trial and error. So, I recently went back and she, again, effectively addressed some new minor issues that another local dermatologist was not able to address! Trust is important in a provider. Dr. Krishnan is able to make accurate diagnoses and match them with effective treatment recommendations; I found that not all dermatologists are able to do this. Her treatment results are very indicative of her knowledge of skin biology. And I appreciate her detailed instructions, despite obviously running a busy clinic. Being kind and having a beautiful office are just additional bonuses. Laurie at the front desk also has been super kind and helpful, too. Overall, super happy with them and I only wish they were closer, but thankfully my dermatology needs are not too frequent!

A++ at every level. Lavanya was careful, thoughtful, comprehensive, reassuring, and so kind and friendly. I had complete confidence in her judgment and execution. The offices were super clean, and everyone who worked there was very professional. Wow, great job!!!

Exceptional Care at Arya Derm I had an outstanding experience at Arya Derm today. From the moment I arrived, the team was welcoming, professional, and highly attentive. The doctor took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the visit. The level of care and attention to detail truly stood out. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and runs very efficiently. I left feeling reassured and genuinely well taken care of. This is the best dermatologist office! They offer comprehensive services with extraordinary expertise and care. I had my first C02 full ablative laser in January and I had so many questions, several times a day for two weeks after. Dr L Krishnan was incredibly responsive and helpful. She’s done regular filler and botox, and treated my hair loss over the last 6 months. Honestly I didn’t think the botox worked at first but then I realized she penetrated deeper in the tissue like I think almost the muscle so it’s lasted four months I kid you not.thank you! I love the front desk too!

Excellent all the way around

I would not recommend this clinic for TMJ Botox. It took a long time just to get an appointment, so I came in expecting a careful consultation and an experienced injector. Unfortunately that wasn’t my experience. During the injections, something clearly went wrong. The placement appears to have affected a different muscle and it caused noticeable changes to my smile for months. My facial movement was uneven and it was honestly pretty distressing to deal with.

I could not recommend Dr. Patel more! She’s completely transformed my skin. I’ve been going to her for almost 10 years now and I’ve seen her for everything - skin checks, acne, skin tone & redness, tattoo removal, lasers (IPL, Pico, Clear + Brilliant), botox. Best dermatologist in San Francisco

Dr. Patel, and Arya Derm, are fantastic in every regard. Setting up an appointment is a breeze, the front staff is exceptionally competent and friendly, and don't even get me going about Dr. Patel -- as professional as they get (WAY better than the Derm Dept. at UCSF!), I know I'm in the best/most capable of hands. Friendly, engaging and her follow-up is extraordinary. Should get six stars...
