Dr. Steven He feels like a scammer. He quoted me $7,000 for one session of Fraxel laser plus subcision. I called two other dermatologists, and they quoted around $1,000 for one Fraxel session. He also wanted to perform the treatment on me in two days without having me prep my skin. The other doctors were more ethical and told me I should prep my skin for two weeks before starting Fraxel laser treatments. Stay away!! He’s hungry for money and will try to scam !!

The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Austin is always upbeat, personable and knowledgeable about any procedures. I feel I am in good hands when I come to that practice!

My daughter and I were patients of Dr. He for a few years while living in San Francisco. We were given a run around and any treatments/medication received made it far worse. I received laser for a scar left behind from Shingles. My daughter was treated for acne on a variety of medications. When advocating for a different approach or dosage, Dr. He had terrible bedside manner. When we confronted him about how he was giving double dosage since she would be away, he completely denied it. He was not authentic about nurturing a persons experience and not ideal for us. We have landed on much better providers who care about their patients. Avoid Dr. He and his money making schemes. We should have stuck with Dr. Watkins and her warmth. That being said, the out of pocket fees were outrageous and wait times were awful. Trying to create a monopoly in SF, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

From the doctors to the nurses to the front desk staff, everyone at BACD is exceptional. They are warm, welcoming, professional, and truly experts in their field. The doctors combine intelligence, precision, and artistry in a way that is rare to find — they keep me looking ageless and natural. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a talented team.
