Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology's Online Review Report Card

I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with Dr. Andrea Hui-Austin at Bay Area. Cosmetic Dermatology. During the first 3 months of covid I experienced hair loss. It was very drastic. I reached out to Dr Austin and she immediately put in a prescription at my local pharmacy. She advised about the medications and how they work. Within 2 weeks there was a change., which Dr Austin advised I would notice. My scalp wasn't dry and I noticed growth starting. I just finished my last dose of the medication and can tell you the results is like night and day from the beginning . My hair has not only fully grown back in but it's thicker as well and my scalp is not dry. You can see in the pictures how the it has filled in during the 3 month period. I'm so grateful to Dr. Austin, as many of you women know hair loss is very difficult and by Dr Austin reacting promptly it made a huge difference. She also followed up with me constantly. I'm so happy and thrilled! Thank you so much Dr Austin you have me back my confidence!

I've been coming to Dr. Austin for about a year and a half and I always leave her office looking and feeling about 10 years younger. I also really appreciate her natural aesthetic approach. Even my closest friends hav never suspected I've had any work done - but I was get compliments on how great my skin looks and how I always look so healthy. I also like how Dr. Austin allows me to take one little step at a time so I can see if I like a procedure (fillers, botox) before deciding to do more.

7/16/2020 Dr. Austin is absolutely the best dermatologist in the US. I have seen countless Dermatologist from Stanford University to Dr. Obagi in Beverly Hills, none of them were able to help my melasma issue. Dr Austin looks out-of-the-box she's smart, knowledgeable, self-confident and most importantly very experienced! She's also a very kind beautiful lady who will listen to you and solve your problem. I am so happy I have found her after years of struggle. She has solved my melasma issue and I'm super happy! The treatment is easy and simple, just couple products for the face and a pill to take orally. She might be able to see you on zoom now that we have this pandemic problem. Do not despair whatever skin problem you have she will be able to solve it I am certain! It's really refreshing to see doctors with this kind of confidence and experience! The office is impeccable and the staff is very kind and helpful as well.

I have been coming to Dr. Welsh's office on and off for various treatments since around 2006. I absolutely love this office, top notch professionalism and reasonable prices. I saw Mary recently, one of the nurses , and she was absolutely a wonderful practitioner with a fabulous bedside manner. I look forward to visiting Dr. Welsh's office for self-care and for how the staff are so nice. Honestly I can't say enough good things! Not one complaint! If you have been thinking of getting a little laser, or a peel, or hair removal, or whatever, I highly recommend you go with Dr. Welsh's office, you won't be disappointed!

Love this place! I actually found Dr. He for my husband who was having some pretty significant skin issues, which Dr. He was able to resolve. I was so impressed that I started seeing him. One of other reviewers said he is a "dermatology prodigy" and that is spot on- Dr. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about all areas of skin care and loves to share his knowledge (I always ask a ton of questions!). My skin has never looked better and I'm so thankful to him! I now know exactly what products and procedures work best for my skin type and why. I also like how he is always looking out for the health of my skin and not just appearance. Not to mention he's a super cool person in general- very personable and you can tell he enjoys his job and cares about his patients- can't recommend him enough :)

I've been seeing Dr.He for two treatments now (acne scarring and mild rosacea which I didn't know I had until he pointed it out) and I am very happy with the results so far. Dr.He is very professional, caring, funny, and knows his stuff! It's hard finding a good dermatologist and after years of searching I've found mine. Highly recommend Dr.He!! Treatments: laser, chemical peels, and soon Botox.

THE BEST. 110%. Not only is Dr. Welsh, Dr. Austin and Mary (RN) the absolute best team ever, they deliver the highest level of service I have ever experienced in my life anywhere. FLAWLESS. I am SO GRATEFUL to this team for their expertise and kindness. If only every business took this much pride in their service delivery and product, we would be a much a better world.

Dr. Welsh is everything you could want in a doctor, She is extremely competent and skilled in the science of skin care, with an artists eye and concern for the face. She is clearly invested in her work, thoughtful, and able to see the individual. Having moved away for quite a few years and recently returned to San Francisco, I was impressed to find that her expanded practice had not lost any of the integrity and carefulness I"d come to associate with her. I did my laser treatment with Dr. He and found him to be equally competent, thoughtful, invested in his work and patient care. In this time of Covid with every contact needing to be weighed, I found the cosmetic lift and the human lift to be well worth it - highly, highly recommend.

Dr. Steven Y. He is absolutely amazing! I have visited several dermatology offices around the country and Dr. He is the first to really make a difference and listen to my concerns no matter how big or small. If you have Rosacea (honestly any skin concern run to Dr. He!) I have had 3 vbeam laser treatments by him and always feel at ease under his care. I appreciate his vast knowledge, and attention to detail. I ask many questions and I never feel rushed. He takes his time and really cares about his patients. Just recently he even noticed a mole I had never noticed while he was doing treatments and cares not only about the cosmetic side of dermatology but the true health and safety of your skin. I notice a huge difference in my rosacea and can't wait to continue more treatments under his care. He has a less is more approach, and patience which I appreciate. Thank you Dr. He for helping my skin glow and making me feel my best without any makeup!
