List of Charles K Morris's Reviews
Dr. Morris was my cardiologist for about six years (following a stent procedure) until I moved from San Francisco. He was always professional, courteous and thorough in his treatment of my heart condition. Most important, early-on, he agreed to take me off my various heart medications which were causing my fatigue. Since then, I have felt fine and only take a low-dose aspirin. His receptionist warned me to be on time for my appointments, and I was.
Avoid at all costs! Dr Morris is a cardiologist who bills himself as a concierge doctor. He charges $7,000 to "join". A staggering out of pocket cost, but worth it, I figured, for the purported top notch referrals (I was looking to get a referral to a good orthopedic for a chronic shoulder injury). I was unfortunately forced to cancel my first scheduled appointment due to a work conflict. I had to wait weeks to get another appointment. When I arrived for the second appointment, I was 5 minutes late. When Dr Morris walked into the room, I went to shake hands and hand him my check for $7,000, and he said, "No". Dr Morris told me that because I was 5 minutes late, and because I had rescheduled on him once, that he was refusing to treat me. Then he walked out. It was over in 2 minutes. And it was frankly shocking. Literally the most unprofessional behavior I have witnessed - ever - from any trained practitioner in any field. As a business owner in a client services field, I was doubly shocked.I would never treat my clients this way! After reading the reviews from Ken W (wish I had read that before wasting weeks waiting for an appointment!), its clear there is a pattern of rude behavior by Dr Morris. Don't waste your time, or your money.
After weeks of waiting for an appointment with Dr. Morris, he refused to treat me because I inquired about his mandatory arbitration agreement.NOT because I refused to sign, mind you. Simply for ASKING whether it was necessary. As an attorney, I try not to waive my right to a jury trial. I feel particularly strongly about the right to a jury trial where medical malpractice is concerned. So I called the front desk and asked whether Dr. Morris insisted on such a waiver before treating me, or whether I could decline to sign it. The assistant told me signing was essential. I told her I would consider my options. After an hour or so, I called back and said that I would reluctantly sign, for fear of waiting many more weeks to see a new cardiologist. I biked up to 2100 Webster Street. As I parked my bike, Dr. Morris's office called my cell phone. The assistant told me Dr. Morris would not treat me. Again: not for refusing to sign a draconian arbitration agreement. Just for ASKING about the agreement, and then agreeing to sign. That is heartless and cruel. I deserved better. If you're looking for a cardiologist, so do you.
I went with a client to see Dr. Morris. There was a LONG wait to get in to see him, so we got on the wait list and - Voila! - we got in earlier than expected. Maureen was diligent and delightful. Dr. Morris came EXTREMELY highly recommended by several physicians. When asked about a cardiologist, his was the name we were given and we were told that he is worth the wait. It's TRUE. He spent time with us. My client's case is extremely complicated. At no point did we feel rushed. We left feeling hopeful that we are on the right track and with significantly more info than when we arrived. Not all the news was good, but even the negative news was delivered in a way that we could understand and cope with. Up until today, my client's heart medications had been managed by her primary care physician. Dr. Morris is putting her on a much more fine-tuned program that considers her whole body health. Every person we came in contact with in Dr. Morris' office was caring and professional. The office itself was well designed so we did not feel crammed in a teeny room with one chair.
He is amazing ... saved my life 3 (three times) by catching things before too late. Very caring Physician. Always on time and always respectful of his patients. Awesome staff, nice offices, and most importantly, VERY WELL connected within the medical community. I've been seeing Dr. Morris since 1991. Let me tell you .. he is top drawer all-the-way. Woohoo! As good as it gets!
I met Dr. Morris in the CIU after experiencing a heart attack. There is no one I would trust more than Dr. Morris with my heart! He has the best bed manners, and truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. He was understanding and compassionate during a very difficult time. Has continued to be a reassuring and to the point cardiologist. Answers your questions throughly and clearly, takes his time. Can't thank him enough for the care he has bestowed upon me throughout the years.

Dr. Morris is the rare Physician who is thorough, patient and very knowledgeable. He loves art of medicine - you can tell that in conversation. His staff is awesome, too.
What an unbelievable doctor (with an unbelievable staff!). The staff is lovely. Maureen at the front desk is so friendly and kind. Really great person to be greeted by and taken through the process (and super efficient).Dr. Morris is incredible. He is so knowledgable and friendly and compassionate. I am extremely pleased to have been referred to him, and had one of the best doctor experiences ever. So much information that was easily explained, there was no time pressure (They clearly schedule appointment to make sure the patients have time vs. being rushed through everything). Felt 100% confident and comfortable with him. 5 stars++ for this doctor.
Great place for a first date!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
