I came to see Dr. Hartman 2.5 years ago for tinnitus and hearing test. 2 years later I received a bill for $160 that was a surprise for me. I never got a call or explanation for such late bill so I assumed it was a mistake, until one day someone from billing department (2.5 years later) called and said they are about to send my information into collection and that I need to pay the bill. After trying to figure out what the bill was for, it ended up being for a bloody nose that I happened to have the day I came to check my ears. The doctor acknowledged my bloody nose and offered to stop the bleeding before we start the the hearing test. Nothing was communicated that it will be a very expensive procedure for some reason (this ended up being the highest charge on my bill, and i didn't even come for any nose problems. they charged insurance company $500 for this) I'm used to bloody nose, as I have it often so i didn't give it much thought and assumed that it wasn't a big deal or some speci
