Excellent practice. Dr. Nathanson is top notch!
Extraordinary doctor, great treatments!
I have been going to him about five years now and I can’t say enough good things about him and his entire staff.
Extraordinary and painless treatment, you are in the hands of the best!
Amazing doctor. He’s extremely skilled and personable- a winning combination for any doctor. He makes patients and their families feel comfortable with his warm, welcoming manner, and he also explains procedures, expected outcomes, actual results, and necessary follow-up care so thoroughly that patients feel secure in his ability to help them. He answers questions without a hint of condescension so that everyone is aware of the process. We have to thank Dr. Levine (another vascular surgeon in the same group practice, who is also just fantastic) for the referral to Dr. Nathanson. It was the right choice for my husband who was treated for complications of peripheral artery disease. Our background story: A cardiologist suggested by my husband’s Internist in Michigan, where we’re from, had tried twice without success to remove calcified plaque from my husband’s legs. We searched for someone with the experience and skills to remove the plaque. We found Dr. Levine and Dr. Nathanson in California (where our daughter and her family lives), and we made an appointment with their group practice. After Dr. Nathanson’s first exam of my husband’s legs, he immediately squeezed my husband into his surgical schedule. Dr. Nathanson read all of my husband’s charts and medical records and he knew what to do. He performed an angiogram immediately followed by an angioplasty, and accompanied by the use of a laser, stent, and balloon during a very successful procedure to remove the calcified plaque in my husband’s most problematic leg. The other leg will be done in a couple of weeks. Needless to say, we were extremely happy and grateful, almost to the point of happy tears, at the news of the outcome of this process. Kudos and thanks also to Dr. Nathanson’s office and surgical staff. They were very efficient, friendly, and so knowledgeable!
Super uncomfortable visit. Will not be returning.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
