Highly-recommended for helpful high tech radiation therapy treatments. Dr. Kornguth is wise, personable, empathetic and gives you his full attention and concern when you meet with him and lets you know/feel he genuinely cares about you as a fellow valuable (though painful suffering) human being, not just a bottom line number.

My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2023. He was immediately referred to Dr. David Kornguth at the Golden Gate Cancer Center. Dr. Kornguth is friendly, caring, and patient. He explained the entire treatment process to us and addressed all our concerns. He also has a very solid team of medical practicians to help my husband go through that 45 days of radiation treatment. My husband told me that he did not experience any discomfort during any days of that treatment. Rather, he had a great time chatting with the medical practicians in and out of the treatment center. The front desk and the nurse station are another added value to the Center. They are courteous, thoughtful and efficient. Thanks to Dr. Kornguth and the entire medical team. My husband's PSA level is now normal and he's well. We highly recommend Dr. David Kornguth to anyone who is in needs to consult with a great oncologist with prostate cancer. Dr. Kornguth was kind, compassionate and very giving of his time. He answered every question with ease and was quite thorough with his feedback. Given the many changes across the healthcare system in recent years, he restored my faith in doctors. A wonderful doctor as well as person.
