Diana B. Camarillo's Online Review Report Card

I was recommended to Dr. Camarillo by a family member.  Meeting Dr. Camarillo firstly was very nice and she diagnosed my condition without any issue.  It matters to have a very skilled specialist (which Dr. Camarillo is for certain).  However, another important thing that one needs is a doctor who has compassion and empathy.  Thus, I was extremely pleased with Dr. Camarillo's friendly,  informative, and patient attitude.  I've been to a few other dermatologists, and none of them had the 'bedside manner' of Dr. Camarillo.

Ive been going to Camarillo Diana B MD for a series of Vbeam laser treatments of a venous lake. Camarillo Diana B MD and his staff are greatalways cheerful prompt and kind. Highly recommend

She’s great helped me with my issues right away gave me options and paths forward... pretty much all you could ask for

She is one of the best dermatologists in California. She is intelligent caring and everything youd want in a practitioner. I would give her 100 stars if I could.

Dr. Camarillo is an excellent clinician, who is wonderfully personable and caring. She is very thorough, and discusses options with the patient clearly, while allowing room for the patient to make an informed decision. She removed a mole that turned out to be benign, and gave me the results quickly. She's a great doctor, and the entire practice is well run.

I wrote this review of my experience at this office on Yelp last year:  "Spectacularly rude front office staff. I was treated with neither dignity nor kindness. I'd rather eat broken glass than walk into that office again. I don't need such non-caring, rude nonsense. "  Yelp notified me that they had deleted my review because "it didn't include enough detail about your experiences as a customer."  I will insist that my voice as a customer of this office be heard.  I arrived for the appointment at the appointed time and was told that my appointment, which had been confirmed, was at a different time.  The receptionist spoke to me in an incredibly condescending way when I asked if there was any way that I could see the doctor in spite of this surprising scheduling issue.  She made sure that she said it loud enough so that everyone seated in the waiting room could hear it:  "No.  You may not see the doctor today."  No apology, no attempt to work through the situation.  As I said in my previous review and will reiterate again -- I was treated with neither dignity nor kindness, and I would rather eat broken glass than walk into that office again.  (Note to Yelp:  This was my experience as a customer.)

I was pregnant two weeks before my due date, and worrying that I had skin cancer on my lip that I was never going to have time to take care of once my newborn arrived. Dr. Camarillo graciously squeezed me into her packed schedule and took a look at my lip (which she thankfully identified as NOT cancer nor anything to be worried about). She even pulled in Dr. Dawson to just double confirm, and both of them were so professional and warm. Dr. C quickly removed the lesion and told me what to expect in terms of healing. I don't wish to have any more skin worries, but the minute I do, I will be back at their office! And that office... such a clean spa-like environment. A nice break from the hustle of the city!

I came to consult Dr Camarillo 4 months ago because I had a couple of pimples that would always come every other week on my face. To still have that at 35 years old is annoying, especially since i was thinking i was taking a good care of my face using daily a dedicated man face wash and moisturizer since I was 20. After examining my skin and discussing how i have been taking care of it, Dr Camarillo recommended that i use a combination of 4 specific face products and it totally changed everything. No more pimple or at most one within the last 4 months, and even my wife told me that my skin looks way better. I wish i came to see that dermatologist years ago.Therefore I can only highly recommend Dr Camarillo!

It took only one laser treatment from the other demonologist (for $150) to completely get rid of the spider veins on my cheeks. On the contrary, Dr Diana Camarillo did two treatments(for $200 each, $400 total) and believed they can partially remove the veins, which turned out to have done nothing at all.
