My primary care physician recommended Dr. Kitt and I saw another neurologist whose waiting time for the initial appointment was shorter. Big mistake. While Dr. X referred me to have an initial test run and then said (via a phone message and her receptionist wouldn't let me follow up with the doctor when I called back)  "You have xx and you need to follow up with your primary care physician," Dr. Kitt took that initial test and prescribed medication to relieve my symptoms, but first ordered additional tests to make sure I did not have an underlying condition.  Over the two years that I've been seeing him, Dr. Kitt has been compassionate and kind and regularly checks to see whether or not my condition is progressing, and adjusts medications when appropriate. Usually the office is very on time, with about a seven minute wait from the time of my scheduled appointment and the time the doctors walks into the examination room. (And remember, it only takes on late patient to throw off a doctor's schedule.) He takes time with me and listens, but he also doesn't take more time than necessary. All of the reviews here are either one star or five stars -- something feels really off.

Surprised to read this review ^^ because my experience with him is QUITE the opposite. Yes, the patient rooms are small, but how much room do you really need for a neurological exam? As to Dr. Kitt, over the last 18 months that I've been seeing him, I've found him to be thorough in both his exams, tests, and explanation of my condition. We've gone through a roller coaster of medications trying the find one that works for me as my symptoms change, but he continues to be patient and kind. I've been to a lousy neurologist, and he's very, very good.

This man is mean, grumpy and dismissive. The office is small and has super old equipment. The patient rooms are really small. He is rough - poking with unnecessary roughness. He is unable to give good directions in order to have a me move my limbs. So instead of being more explicit, he states, "She can't understand me." I would never go back and I certainly would never recommend him to friends and family. There are lots of doctors, so there is no need to go to one that is rough, grumpy and mean

Dr. Kitt saved my life.  I have epilepsy and he had been my Doctor for about 15 years before he noticed something different about my balance and ordered an MRI.  He found 2 small tumors.  One that was pressing on my spinal cord and another on my lower brain stem.  I could have been permanently paralyzed from the neck down.  He saved my life.

This doctor failed in his duties to tell me I had a devastating Final cord tumors in my spine never followed me up and I became unable to walk barely walking now. Had he followed me up we would have caught the second tumor that is crippling my ability to walk like a human being.

Dr. Kitt was professional and great! He asked the right questions, and is intelligent and thorough. He is greatly respected in the medical community, and so it is no surprise that there is a wait to get an initial consultation appointment. It's worth the wait, though. He is one of the best!

Dr Kitt lacks professionalism, compassion and caring and showed absolutely no desire to get to know me as a human being who is simply seeking care. I scheduled an appointment with him for treatment of a chronic debilitating neurological condition. I was appalled at how he took it am seeking a fun, intelligent, compassionate, sincere, positive, gentleman to cherish and who cherishes me, sharing long lasting friendship and passionate love, built upon mutual respect, attraction, and shared values upon himself to arrogantly disagree. even without examining me and without looking at my mri study, he arrogantly stated that a secondary neurological diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia which is a direct result of the primary neurologic diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, of which every neurologist has concurred with and has diligently and caringly treated me for over the years is inaccurate. I have been battling this neurological condition for many years, have been diagnosed by the best neurologists, including Harvard and Stanford trained physicians i am spending time on the west coast and am seeking a neurologist to follow me while i spend considerable time in the Bay Area. I simply thought I would schedule an appointment to met and get to know this physician with the desire to assess how i feel that about this particular physician. He did not show patience compassion not did he demonstrate the desire to understand my long battle with a chronic neuroligic condition. My assessment of him and my first appointment was a clear indication that this physician should not be considered if you are seeking a caring compassionate physician who you will feel cares about your needs as a patient. He arrogantly made a diagnosis without examining me at all and without looking at my mri scan that I brought with me. He also was provided with medical records over years all concurring the diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia. I have never experienced such a disappointing first visit with any physician in my lifetime.

Steer WAY clear of this arrogant, condescending clod. I came to him on a referral for a problem I was having with my feet. During his exam he asked me questions about the problem and what I thought might be the cause. But when I answered him, he treated me with very rudely dismissive responses. I will never know whether or not he has any chops as a neurologist becuase he is so, completely lacking in social skills, and harbors so much latent hostility that any skills he MIGHT have are hindered and eclipsed by his overall attitude.I suggest he seek professional help for it.

I am only giving Dr. Kitt one star because this is the lowest option.Dr. Kitt has a bad temper and blows up in the examining room.I brought my elderly father to see Dr. Kitt and told him the following:My father's medical condition in other medical disciplines are all caused by his Parkinson's Disease. Dr. Kitt didn't understand why we told him this even though Dr. Kitt is being paid to treat my father's Parkinson's Disease. We told this because my father's medical condition was declining and becoming not manageable for everyone.We needed help because his Parkinson's Disease was making all our lives miserable.Dr. Kitt's reaction was yelling and screaming that he didn't want to hear this. His temper was so violent and abusive that I thought he was going to break furniture.My father no longer sees Dr. Kitt. Dr. Kitt violated the boundaries of medical care.

My father has been seeing Dr. Kitt for the past 20 years to treat his Parkinson's Disease. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Kitt because in order to treat Parkinson's you really need to see a physical therapist and speech therapist too.Dr. Kitt never recommend a physical therapist. A speech therapist was recommended only after I spoke to him about this.His practice is low-powered. Some other practices have a nurse and physical therapist there too.When, my father went to the hospital and his Parkinson's completely failed him.Dr. Kitt never returned my phone call.I left him 7 messages and asked him if he could help my father because the hospital wants to discharge patients early and too early for my father.He never returned any of my phone call.Dr. Kitt, you know it and I know thatyou are a rotten and no good person and doctor.
