I saw Chris today and he was truly incredible. He methodically worked out all of my tight spots with very clear mastery of his craft. He's very strong and was also very clearly in tune with me throughout the massage. He's also a very warm, kind, and pleasant man. I will definitely be back to see him and strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional massage!

I've been a massive fan of East West Bernal (as well as their other locations in Glen Park and Noe Valley!) for years. While I was undergoing fertility treatment, I went to Marnie and several of the other acupuncturists, who were all wonderful. While I have no way of knowing whether it was correlation or causation, I am happy to report that I now have two healthy kiddos! I've also gotten many massages there over the years, but it had been a while. Since the person I had previously gone to no longer works there, I made an appointment with Chris. I think I have a new favorite massage therapist! I went in with a very sore upper back from nursing and carrying the kids and left feeling like a new person.

This morning I received bodywork from Chris, I truly enjoyed his shiatsu techniques, I felt like a new person after being held in his hands, when he was working on my neck, I felt gentle somatic release, the world felt brighter and kinder when I got off the table. He also did an amazing job at releasing my shoulders. He is a very empathic and kind practitioner with very strong hands. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

I recently visited EWIMC for severe back pain and muscle spasm that had been bothering me for weeks, and I cannot express enough how incredible the experience was. Chris clearly knows what he is doing and has a true gift for helping people feel better. I highly recommend a deep tissue massage from Chris to anyone struggling with back pain or looking for a highly skilled massage therapist. I’ll definitely be returning!

Go here if you want to work with experienced healers. I’ve seen Marnie and her team throughout major life transitions, surgeries, and procedures. I felt professionally and carefully cared for. Could not recommend more - these are the people you want to care for your mind, body, and spirit!

Chris at the Bernal location is my new go to massage therapist. I love him, he is so great. He is very strong and gets into those very nasty tight muscles, he has all kinds of tools that he uses followed by a marvelous hot towel. I swear I left 2" taller with aligned shoulders.

I went in for a massage with Chris. He's really knowledgeable and understands the body holistically. I was able to walk out feeling much more relaxed and my trouble spots were relieved. The space is also very tranquil.

I recently saw Chris at the Bernal Heights location for a deep tissue massage. Chris was friendly, energetic and professional, and I left feeling relief from the hip and shoulder pain I went in for. Would definitely recommend!
