He couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. He used an ultrasound to tell me my prostate was small when it was in fact very large. He told me I had a UTI one week and then the next week he told me I didn't. He dismissed me from his office for bringing up how studies on masks can cause a bacterial infection, dismissing me without giving me a referral to another doctor. I reported him to my insurance company for his lack of judgment and lack of standard of care.

1st time see him. He is doing some check by himself not the RN. He is better than other Urlogist in Richment. Easy to talk.

Dr. Edward J Collins is an Excellent Physician/Urologist. He has provided care for family members as well as I have provided care for his patients and in my experience these patients all stated he gave noteworthy health care services. Dr. Collins provides exceptional, excellent, professional, knowledgeable, and professional skilled care. Moreover, with an optimal bedside manner that needs to be reinforced with the future medical professional generation.

My first consultation appointment with Dr. Collins was at 9:00am on Aug 10. I showed up early but since the office opens at 9:00 I had to wait in the hall. Even though I was the first person to walk through the door upon opening, I was not seen until after 10:00am. During my appointment, I felt rushed and unimportant. I returned to my second on Sept 5 during which I was told I need to schedule a procedure. I have left NUMEROUS messages for the doctor and/or his staff to return my call to schedule the procedure. It is October 1 and NOBODY HAS RETURNED MY CALL. This is a very unprofessional office and I have asked my regular physician to refer me to somebody who will give me the attention I deserve.

Dr. Collins has only been very professional and helpful, based on my experiences. He took as much time to explain things as I required and had very good communication skills, including use of a direct email to him. He diagnosed my problems, which ultimately required surgery, and he explained all my options and monitored my recovery and rehabilitation to my complete satisfaction.

One of the worst doctors I've encountered. He was totally dismissive of what I told him happened to me and what my concerns were. When I told him I was in a lot of pain, he said pain can be subjective . He said he couldn't help me and referred me to a neurologist unnecessarily because when I saw the neurologist he said I needed to see an urologist (what "doctor" Collins is supposed to be) and have a CTA test done. I'm see my new urologist today. I wish I had check Yelp first before seeing Dr. Collins. He wasted my time and has caused me to suffer with my health issue and pain unnecessarily for seven months. I'm not surprised he has so many one star reviews. UPDATE: After seeing my new urologist, and after three different kinds of ultrasounds, it was learned I needed pelvic rehabilitation for my injury. This is something Dr. Collins could have determined had he not dismissed my injury., pain and concerns. Because of him, my rehabilitation is much more painful than it might have been had he done his job when I saw him.

Very incompetent. Misdiagnosed my condition and suggested that I had to learn to live with pain. Had to go to another physician to receive proper diagnosis and treatment. Worst doctor I have ever visited.
