Dr Faktorovich and her staff made me feel extremely comfortable during my LASIK consultation and procedure. The whole process went so smooth and was fun! She uses up to date technology for her procedures and I highly recommend you make an appt with her office and SEE for yourself.

Dr.Faktorovich is an expert! When looking into having my LASIK, I wanted someone who not only specializes in this surgery, but someone who publishes research and is at the forefront of innovation in vision surgery. My LASIK went amazing. Everyone guided me through the process and ensured my comfort. I can see perfectly and am very Grateful to have found Dr.Faktorovich. Kudos to the entire staff at Pacific Vision Institute! They care about their work and want you to be happy. They get my highest mark!

Totally renewed my faith in doctors. After multiple tests and several exams, Dr. Faktorovich determined that the surgery was not going to be the best option for me. Unlike another doctor I've consulted with, who was quick to recommend LASIK, Dr. Faktorovich requested my eye exam records from several eye doctors I've seen for glasses in the past. She discussed my previous prescriptions with me and did not hesitate to recommend that I do not have surgery and instead just use glasses to work on the computer. I truly appreciate her thoroughness and high level of expertise. All I can say is thank you to Dr. Faktorovich and her staff. As disappointed as I was that I couldn't get LASIK, I've got to say that it was the best medical experience of my life and all of the credit goes to Dr. Faktorovich and her exceptional staff.

Dr. Ella Faktorovich and every single one on her team is professional and caring. Her expertise and compassion are second to none. From the moment I decided to finally pursue LASIK and sent in an inquiry by the internet, her staff has responded to and communicated with me in an incredibly timely fashion. Knowing I am a surgeon with a hectic schedule, Dr. Faktorovich worked with me to schedule the consultation and procedure. Her staff texted and emailed reminders in a friendly way, and they responded to any question I had without delay. In fact, Dr. Faktorovich responded herself to some questions in such a warm and accessible manner. Dr. Chen was very knowledgeable in her assessment of my current eye prescription, and she made sure that I met personally with Dr. Faktorovich the day before the scheduled procedure. Because Dr. Faktorovich saw something that was of possible concern to my candidacy for corneal surgery, she recommended a final study which her staff was able to arrange immediately after my office visit with her- the day before surgery. Thankfully, the test was within normal limits. I do appreciate her thoroughness. During the day of the procedure, everything went smoothly exactly as she and her team had explained. They set realistic expectations. And when I opened my eyes four hours later, I could see the leaves on the trees outside of my window at home!I saw the entire team the following day for my postop visit, and my vision is 20/15. I am tremendously grateful to Dr. Faktorovich, Dr. Chen, Renee, Marguerite, Elizabeth, and every single team member for their efforts on my behalf to see my "Life in Focus." They did a "GREAT JOB!" Absolutely amazing experience end-to-end at PVI with Dr. Faktorovich and her skilled, professional, competent, and caring staff. I chose PVI over a couple of other options mainly because Dr F meets you in person at your consultation, which you would think is standard for surgery but you'd be surprised! I felt totally at ease and comfortable going into my LASIK procedure and can now see 20/15 one day later!! I only wish I'd done LASIK sooner, having worn glasses and contacts for over 20 years, but better late than never. Seriously, if you're thinking of getting this done just go for it, and go to Pacific Vision Institute!

Dr. Ella Faktorovich is an incredibly accomplished ophthalmologist in the Bay Area. Dr. Faktorovich performed PRK on my fiancé and years later (summer 2019) did my lasik surgery. Despite how knowledgeable she is, Ella is humble, warm and welcoming. She explains the procedure to you in very simple terms and makes you feel comfortable so that you know you are in good hands. After all, she is playing with your eyes! Dr. Ella Faktorovich leads an equally efficient and proficient team that handles everything from payment/appointments to doing the pre and post op. They value your business and your time. Most importantly, they realize this is life changing. (I am now seeing 20/15; after my last check up apparently 20/10!)Dr. Ella also does a lot of education around the Bay Area for those in optometry. She and I bonded over our love of dogs; she showed me a picture of her dog name Sam!
