List of Emma Taylor's Reviews
I went to the dermatologist for the first time for an ongoing issue, and I have to say Dr. Emma Taylor made a dismal first impression. I waited for her for in the room for a good 20 min. When she finally came in it felt rushed, and her attitude was as if I was an inconvenience to her and her patients in dire need of collagen injections and face lifts. She took less than 10 seconds to look at my skin and made it nearly impossible to ask questions – she gave me cold, short answers before running out the door. She prescribed medication that eventually worked and gave me a sample of drugstore petroleum ointment (which didn't do sh*t) so on paper she did her job. Perhaps she had a bad day. Likely she was overbooked and that's just the sad truth about our healthcare system and how they value staff. But when you're working with patients who are stressed and frustrated for not knowing what's going on with their bodies, the least you could do is make them feel comfortable with coming back.
Dr. Taylor walked into the room stating why I was there. After I said "no" twice, she finally said OK, why are you here. The problem was dry skin in side the canal of my ear, not outside the ear. Dr. Taylor never used an otoscope to look nor did she state that dermatology was the incorrect referral. She should have just referred me to ENT. She did mention that I might need an ENT doctor. She ordered 3 medications and they made the problem much worse so I threw out these medications. I will see an ENT specialist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
