List of Epstein And Tuffanelli Mds Inc's Reviews
The first time we were here, it was fine. The dermatologist that helped my dad was great, and the front desk was great, especially for a busy day. However, today there was a different lady at the front desk wearing a white coat. We came for an appointment today and were told by her that the appointment date was moved. My dad, who does not speak English at all, said he got a call from someone that spoke English and ended the call, but there was no voicemail or email sent to my dad. My contact information was also left in the form when my dad first came here. There was no effort made to try to get in touch with me or my dad. Finally, there were no other patients in that office today, but the person at the front desk felt very rushed and had a very rude tone towards me the whole time.
Showed up 10 minutes early for an appointment. Dr Tuffanelli had a visitor who "dropped in" for a social call. They had a grand old time talking for 20 minutes (during my scheduled appointment). The office then closed, everyone left, and no one ever told me that Dr. Tuffanelli had apparently decided not to see me.
DO NOT USE ZOCDOC TO MAKE APPTS AT THIS OFFICE. I showed up as a new patient and they had no record of my appt. They told me I had to wait for 'confirmation' from them, even though I received pretty clear confirmation from Zocdoc by emails and texts that my appt was booked. It was not a good office experience and it made me choose another doctor. Epstein & Tuffanelli shoud be clear with Zocdoc and their potential new patients that an office confirmation is required after getting a confirmation from Zocdoc.
I got a referral and supposedly they had good ratings, but I went to the appointment and waited 30 minutes and no one saw me so I left
The worst customer service I've ever experienced at a doctor's office. Rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I called twice to confirm an appointment time and when I arrived they told me my appointment was for a different time. They also hung up on me while I was trying to explain the purpose of the appointment. Any other dermatologist would be a better option.
Horrible customer service and grumpy bedside manner.
I was given a referral by my doctor to this office and I booked and appointment but a week later I cancelled the appointment. This review is only for the office staff who answered the phone. She was so rude and unwelcoming that I went back to my doctor and got a different referral to a different dermatologist for my 1 year old daughter. I'll have to wait longer for an appointment but it will be worth it if I don't need to deal with such a rude receptionist.
The worst experience twice at this dermatology office! Makes you wait 40 min for an appointment that is a 40 sec UV treatment! Then when I told them that I have a job too and I came here for an appointment at 11:15 but now it's already 11:55am and still the room is not even available for me, they shrug their shoulders and say that they are very busy! They laugh among each other and chat as of nothing is wrong and they don't care at all! When I spoke to Dr Burroughs expressing this all he did was look at me and say nothing as if this is normal and that he is even surprised that I am complaining and am upset. I actually started crying cause it really hurts me that I left an elderly mother home alone to run over for my appointment as well as my work that I am supposed ti be doing, but they really do not care at all!!!!! The worst organization and the worst place ever!!!!! Very unprofessional and no customer service! Avoid at all costs unless you want to be disappointed and waste your day! Horrible experience and this is the second time having a bad experience here. First time was an insurance issue and I wasted my day here and now this situation! This is only my third time here and I am definitely not coming back here ever again!
Receptionist have very poor service and feel they need get more training on customer service . I am new patient and just want to make an appointment. I called, first have to go through listen to their auto message then a receptionist lady answered the phone. I told her I need to make a appointment then she asked were I been here before and I told her I am a new patient, my doctor referred me then she said "hold on" but didn't tell me where she go, she left the phone for more then 10 mins and didn't return . She should of at least tell me where she's going and why I need to wait. I can't continue to wait for not giving me a time frame how long I need to wait and what I waiting for I mean I just need an appointment, very simple. So I hanged up.
I have been an ongoing patient who needed a re-fill of a prescription. The prescription had just expired. I called & a day later I was told I had to come in. They could have offered a phone consult, but didn't. Wrote an email complaining about their business practices and received NO Reply. Bad Form.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
