I'm dreadfully late with my review but I promise to be on time for my next procedure as I have every confidence in Dr. Farrell and his team. They listen, they inform, and they put the patient at ease. If special accommodations are required, they're attended to as if they were a matter of course. Procedures are painless and results are communicated quickly. Having worked as an orderly in a G.I. Unit at a Harvard teaching hospital in Boston, I can say with confidence that Dr. Farrell practice is one of the very best. See you in about eighteen months, Doctor!

Dr. Frank Farrell has been my GI for 12 years, since my first baseline colonoscopy. He has a gentle and clear manner in explaining procedures, limits of diets, and how food and other allergies can manifest themselves in the GI tract. He has also helped me through diagnosis and management of SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth). And he gave me suggestions on how to convince my husband to come in for care, too! And, for that I am truly grateful. Dr. Farrell also practices with a female Gastroenterologist, which is rather rare even in San Francisco. He has great support staff, they are very good at running interference to get medications covered if the med that works is a higher tier drug. I endorse both Dr. Frank Farrell's clinical acumen, his practice style, and his calm demeanor. Anyone that can make you laugh both before and after a colonoscopy is a good doctor to know!!
