Get as far away as you can from this doctor. Dr. Hom mis-diagnosed my Mom. Due to Dr. Hom's mis-diagnose and incompetence, my Mom became permanently paralyzed and bed ridden. After he caused my Mom to become disabled, he discarded my Mom from being his patient. Oops, bad apple... throw it out. Destroyed a life and no remorse what so ever. We are so heartbroken and devastated.

Not fair to judge the doctor by the front desk nurse.My family and I have been with Dr. Hom for over 30 yrs. We are alive and well thanks to him.Where can you find a doctor who would spend time with you talk and answer questions

I've been a patient of Dr. Hom since the 90s and I have always had great care. He has listened to my questions and asked his own as well. He genuinely cares and it shows. I interviewed 3 doctors before becoming Dr. Hom's patient. The office is neat and orderly; the staff is responsive; Dr. Hom took 20 minutes out of his day to see and speak with me - no co-pay, no bill, just an interview to see if I wanted him as a doctor. I have been fortunate and I am proactive in maintaining good health. Dr. Hom has encouraged me and when needed treated me.

The staff is extremely rude, The doctor is even worse and does not seem to understand the concept of normal, civilized behavior. Perhaps he just doesn't give a #%$! I noticed that many of his patients are Asian immigrants who speak little or no English. I really feel sorry for them. OTOH, this office will treat you badly regardless of your race.

Stay away from this doctor. His staff is incredibly rude after contacting his office about a cough that was lasting many many weeks they seem to really be dragging their feet on getting me care. They insisted on creating obstacles to making a doctor's appointment and then when I disagreed with the speed they were working at they refused to see me which only delayed my Care by another two weeks. Is that of trying to find a solution for my health challenges the doctor and the staff decided to punish me period being on medical means there's only three doctors in San Francisco that will help with my cough so they know exactly how cruel they were being by canceling my care
