Dr. Zanelli is absolutely fantastic. I was impressed by his kindness and frank demeanor. My IPL results were stunning. With dermatology like dentistry its critical to find someone who is knowledgeable AND honest. He went over the risks of any procedures told me common side effects and even gave me different samples to try with no pressure to buy.Any procedures are done by Dr. Zanelli himself—this is a real dermatology practice not a spa. Not once did he try to sell me expensive solutions and rather he urged conservative treatments for my sensitive skin. He took his time to answer every question. Highly recommended.

I'm so thankful Dr. Zanelli is still taking care of his patients during this crazy time. I've seen Dr. Z four times since the onset of the pandemic, and I have always felt safe and well-cared for. He moved to a different office space on the same floor of the same building. The front office is much larger, making social distancing easy. The office also staggers patients, so it's rare to find yourself waiting with another patient. All Covid protocols are followed: temp check, masking, etc...I also love the new online booking process. My hair salon uses the same software - oh how I miss my hair salon during the pandemic! Roots are in, right??Yesterday (01/12/2021), I saw Dr. Z for a new seborrheic keratosis on my face. So annoying and unsightly, but thankfully benign. I had one on my nose (Ack!) back in 2016, and Dr. Z got in there with liquid nitrogen and froze that sucker right off! I was thrilled he left no scar behind, which is why I went back to him yesterday so he could work his magic. Relatively painless during and completely painless after, and I again expect no scar.Dr. Z no longer takes insurance, but the out of pocket cost for the nitrogen zap was far less than I thought it would be, which is much appreciated on an educator's salary. The office also gave me a document to submit to my insurance, which I can do online for partial reimbursement - easy peasy and so worth it for peace of mind and no scarring.I returned today (01/13/2021) for some aesthetic procedures - one that I've done once before with Dr. Z, and another I had not. I was expecting at least a few days of downtime and some bruising based on my online research. I figured I'd cover the bruising with my face mask (that's one indirect convenience of masking up, yah?), but I'm thrilled to look in the mirror and see no bruising at all! What I do see is a thoughtfully and artfully younger looking me, which according to Dr. Z will look even better over the next two weeks. Bring it on!Also cool - I needed a quick prescription yesterday, which he immediately sent to my local Walgreens. He used to give paper prescriptions, but he's made the process much easier by sending it electronically, which I greatly appreciated.As always, Dr. Z is so pleasant and calming and helpful and knowledgeable, and his proverbial bedside manner is impeccable. I also find him wonderfully conservative in his aesthetic approach - or maybe he's just doing a great job reading the room. Less is more, more or less. :)Obviously I'm a fan.I think the saying asserts the trifecta of needs is a good lawyer, a good accountant, and a good mechanic. I'm adding a fourth: if you need a great dermatologist with a kind heart, a brilliant brain, pinpoint precision, ethical standards, and an artistic eye, Dr. Zanelli is your guy.

Pretty unpleasant experience. Won't send my prescriptions so I have to take a physical piece of paper and get it to my pharmacy. Also the doctor was not warm or friendly. I did get a prescription so I guess I'll see how it works on my acne but no patience for my questions or visible desire to actually help me out.

I had been suffering from plantar warts for quite a few years and had been to a couple of podiatrists who each tried a different experimental treatment that didn't work. I got a referral from my primary care physician to Dr Zanelli and his office got me in quickly. Dr Zanelli took his time to explain his technique which was a bit painful but it worked and cured the warts finally. I was very happy with the care I received as well as the great office staff.

I started seeing Dr. Zanelli in 2016 for dermatological reasons. My One Medical team referred me for a crazy lesion that developed on my nose - gasp! Dr. Zanelli zapped that sucker and after an expected ugly phase, there's no trace of where that lesion once was and no nasty return. So thankful for that. I asked for skincare recommendations, and started using a ridiculously affordable 2% salicylic acid ZSkin face wash, and ultimately an eye cream (can't recall the brand right now, but it's in a dark blue dispenser...) and use them both religiously.The office is inviting and intimate. Daniela at the front desk is welcoming and kind, and brilliantly knowledgable about their products. Neither Daniela nor Dr. Z try to upsell me on products, which is a welcome relief from other such offices, as well as makeup counters. Daniela softly suggests products by offering samples, and leaves it up to me if I want to pursue purchase. So refreshing!In 2018, I started seeing Dr. Z for more aesthetic reasons (he's still my derm if I need anything). Dr. Z is a pro at helping me look my best. I appreciate that he's both conservative in his treatment recommendations, but also listens to the direction I want to go. I feel like I'm in very capable hands, and my results don't lie. He also has an excellent bedside manner, never rushing me or his other patients, as far as I've seen. One final thing that makes going to see Dr. Z a treat is his knowledge of both fine and contemporary art. His office walls are a gorgeous reflection of his interests, and we always have a fun repartee in the midst of it all. Icing on the cake!

Amazing hands Dr. Zanelli recently treated me with Botox and I could not be more thrilled He asked me specifically what I wanted corrected and he delivered. The result precise natural looking and very smooth. I’ve been receiving neurotoxin injections for 17 years—this was not my first rodeo—so I am uniquely qualified in assuring anyone reading this review they will not be disappointed making an appointment with Dr. Zanelli. He also has a wonderful bedside manner his office is beautiful and his staff is welcoming.

Dr. Zanelli and Daniela are genuinely caring professionals. Dr. Zanelli is also one of the few dermatologists that is very hands on. I trust Dr. Zanelli with my full range of skin concerns ranging from cosmetic to medical. I couldn’t be more happy with my care at Z Skin Center.
