This review is long overdue. I went to see Dr. Freeny for the first time a few years ago to address some hair loss issues. I've met many dermatologists throughout my life, but Dr. Freeny is BY FAR the best and most knowledgeable dermatologist I've ever met. She takes the time to explain things very thoroughly and I never leave the appointment feeling like I didn't get my questions answered. She is very caring and takes the time to learn about the body as a whole, and not just things related to the skin. I suffer from a very complex disease, which does impact my skin, and Dr. Freeny has been wonderful when it comes to working with me to address the dermatological issues caused by my condition. I really wish every doctor could be like her. Even when I don't obtain the results that I wish I could, I still feel like I've received the best care I could possibly get. I completely trust her. She is super smart and really a great person! I absolutely recommend her!

I have been going to Dr. Freeny for a few years now and she is BY FAR the best dermatologist I have ever had which should carry a lot of weight because I used to go to Dr. Ting (the owner of her practice) and I wasn't a fan of his but years later I came back to his practice just because of Dr. Freeny. She is kind, understanding, incredibly well versed in her field, and always makes time for any concerns I bring up. She never makes me feel like I'm on a time limit and is always open to hearing about any issues I have. She explains the medications she recommends and why she is recommending them which is in stark contrast to so many other doctors who make you wait, barely listen, then just write a prescription and rush you out the door.

Dr Freeny and staff at the Hercules office are awesome. Feel very comfortable with care that I am receiving regarding my skin issues. Her patience in explaining treatment that she is recommending is put in a way that I, a non medical person can understand. Highly recommend Dr. Freeny and entire office.

Dr. Freeny is the best dermatologist that I have seen - out of several. She has a background as a pharmacist, which I like. She has treated me for lipoma removal, discoid lupus, barnacle removal - all very professionally performed, and importantly, her treatment for discoid lupus has been very effective. Her bedside manner is A+, meaning she is caring and she listens to what you say. Even though I've moved out of state, I have appointment with her soon.

Took my son to see Dr Freeny - she prescribed 4 medications and monthly blood tests for a condition she did not even test to see if he had. 3 of the perscriptions were not covered by insurance were over $1000 each! Glad I took my young son to another dr!
