I was amazed that the post op was not what everyone was telling me about. I had barely any pain. Dr. Chen's appointments were always timely and his staff were very professional which gave me great confidence. So glad that I am no longer in pain as a torn cartilage makes one's fuse very short and I was not someone you want to be around.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. My husband was in an accident where he broke his collarbone. We found Dr. Chen on Google and his office was the only office that could get my husband in within the same week of the accident. From start to finish, the surgery and care process was so professional and easy. He did an incredible job, and the scar has healed really well. After the surgery, my husband started to feel shortness of breath, we reached out to Dr.Chen's office and Dr. Sarah was on staff at the time and she recommended we go to urgent care and make sure nothing was wrong. It turns out, my husband had developed some blood clots in his lungs (after lots of testing from specialists, they determined the clots were caused by the accident, not the surgery). Long story short, Dr. Chen went out of his way to check on my husband once he found out what was going on. 6 months after he put the plate in, my husband wanted the plate removed and Dr. Chen removed it with no incident. I can't express how well cared for we felt by Dr. Chen and his staff. If you need an orthopedic surgeon, I would highly recommend him and his office. Thank you Dr. Chen!

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Chen. I'm a retired Firefighter and was referred to Dr. Chen By Blue Shield, for shoulder pain. I was seen by another orthopedic surgeon who was very short with me, gave me no options, and told me his method of a total shoulder replacement was my only option. Dr.Chen was very patient with me, answered all of my questions and concerns, schedule an MRI, to confirm all of my options, and encourage a second opinion for a procedure that I inquired about. Dr. Chen is an amazing Doctor and he has a great manner. He always greets you with a handshake and asks how you’re doing. He makes you feel like you are important. He really does care.
