List of John Selle's Reviews
Not because of the physician but because of the frustration in receiving pertinent information from the front desk. The doctor is wonderful. We’re very happy with him!!!
I share the disappointment with dr seles staff. Apart from the fact that they NEVER answer the phone this morning I left a message ( which is all you can do) asking for an appointment and asking for a prescription refill was not answered. Earlier in the week I got a call from his office requesting that I send them a photo of my insurance card (which lists him as my primary physician
Have trouble answering the phone
How your staff treats your potential customers, or in this case patients, comes from the top. I can’t imagine that a Doctor--who claims to be committed to healing--is true to his profession when he allows his team to treat people so poorly.Dr. Salle was recommended to me by an acquaintance, and despite the less than favorable online reviews I read about his clinic’s receptionist, a few months back I called to make an appointment. Sure, enough the experience with the “gatekeeper receptionist” was so terrible I didn’t make an appointment. It is a New Year, so I thought I’d try again, recognizing that perhaps my previous negative interaction with the receptionist was due to her having a bad day; unfortunately, the experience was even worse. Clearly from the negative reviews and my personal experience this is a systemic problem, not a one off isolated event. It is irresponsible for someone in the medical profession to allow his receptionist to treat people as she does, and reflects very poorly on Dr. Salle and his clinic.
Dr. Selle seems like a nice person but he missed a critical diagnosis that could have been solved with a simple routine screening test, even something as simple as a blood test could have been ordered. After multiple visits with complaints of serious symptoms pointing in the direction of a very serious ailment and expressed family history that was a factor the routine test was still not ordered. It took almost 612 months of appts and complaints for which the course of action recommended was diet change etc. it turns out the actual cause of the obvious systems was cancer which had progressed to stage 3B at that point. When the diagnosis was given Dr Selle never called to check in and never visited in the hospital or anything. Through almost 1.5 years of surgery and chemo treatment I never heard from him. His staff never even answered a call to requesting a referral to an oncologist. We were completely left in the dark and he was no where to be found. I hate to write this but we were totally let down and unfortunately the cancer spread. This could have been avoided with more prompt screening. Every Dr. Ive talked to since cant believe the symptoms along with family history were missed. He seems like a nice person but his judgement and follow up is really questionable and he really cant be recommended as a physician. If hes your Dr. Find a new one, and if youre considering seeing him look elsewhere please!
John is a terrific physican. Wherever I am he is always available to talk with me. He is not a pill pusher, that is what I like best about him. He wants me and his other patients to be indepent, i. e, seek personal happiness from spiritual readings and meditations. Thus avoid pills as a crutch.
Dr. Selle listens with his heart. He gives me good advice, so that I can live my life doing good in the world from my heart of gold.
Dr. Selle is great. Ive been seeing him for a little over a year and have found him easy to talk to, a great listener, and he is genuine. His office asst. is wonderful too. I have never had trouble getting an appt. or an answer to a question. He has email access and answers within 24 hours. I highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
