List of Justin Fong's Reviews
Justin Fong is a pretty good doctor and Ive went to him for many many years. The reason I rated him a one star was because of his wife. When I left there to go to the VA for my primary care I was fully paid up. I would never leave there without some type of arrangements. Most the time I found Dr. Fong giving me a break because I only had Medicare for my insurance and he would write off the balance. So when I left his care I have nothing. But his wife made up some fictitious bills owing about $100, its since then going to collection.Ive met his wife a few times and I can see that she is nothing less than Beep. Again my one star has no reflection to the care and the human being that Dr. Fong is. Hes fast to diagnose and to treat his patients. I can highly recommend Dr. Fong but beware if you cross his wife she will do what she hast to do to stab you in the back. I wish Dr. Fong the most successful business that he ass and I will pray for him.
Dr. Justin Fong is one in a million Doctors anyone can find. Aside from his expertise in his medical field, his personal patient care and time he spends with his patients is far and beyond compared to any doctors around. He is aggressive in sending patients for different testing if circumstances calls for until he’ll resolve the patient’s issue. He is not only an excellent doctor but a very good man with a heart of gold and he is a man of God.
My family has been going to Dr. Fong for years.he has always been a great doctor to me. My review of one star has nothing to do with the doctor, but his unprofessional RUDE staff who will eventually ruin his practice.I called to cancel for the second time today more than 24 hrs in advance. I had to cancel a week prior but their message system is extremely confusing and unfortunately could not get a hold of staff until the last minute. However I did. I rescheduled due to my work schedule. Today when I had to reschedule again since we extended our vacation I was treated so unprofessional by a woman answering the phone. She said I would not be able to schedule an appointment until I was back in the country? She assumed I was out of country. She grilled me how canceling can ruin their practice and how she wouldnt be able to reschedule me until I got my schedule straight and wouldnt cancel!!!!! Who does that? Things come up. I only needed a blood test which I guess required a physical according to her. I CANNOT emphasize how rude she was on the phone and how a medical practice can refuse scheduling you until you can guarantee to not cancel again. SHE WILL be the one to ruin his practice not I by cancelling. I will never return again.
I have been a patient of Dr. Fongs for some couple of months(Imperial Health Plan of Los Angeles, HMO, Medicare contract); I recently changed to Anthem Blue , but was pleasantly surprised to learn that he is also in their network as well. What concerned me is on my Anthem Blue cross Med. ID card, it says, brown & toland Physicians, which is, as you know, the northern cal. representative for a slew of HMOs in bay area( the Chicago/capone outfit for defrauding federal government MEDICARE cookie jar), in cahoots w/ a lot of these unethical physicians gaming the medicare program to the tune of $60 billion in just 2014 alone?Would it be justified in saying B & T was one of the master puppeteers in this scam? It has been estimated the losses will increase, not decrease in the coming decade?(whose minding the cookie jar?)
Dr. Fong is an awesome doctor and professional. He is patient and very kind to his patients. He treats his patients wholeheartedly and knows his patient very well. I would highly recommend Dr. Fong to anyone who is looking for a primary doctor in San Francisco. It is easy to get appointments and theres always someone to pick up the phone when I call in. The office is pleasant and the office MA is very friendly. The best Doctor in town!
Dr. Fong is incredibly competent and has the ability to diagnose issues and get to the root cause of illness very quickly. On top of his excellent abilities as a doctor, he is warm, kind and understanding. Hes been seeing and treating me for most of my life as well as my immediate family. Dr. Fong is truly a blessing to me and my family. Hes the best primary care physician around and I would recommend him to anyone!
My guy Dr. Fong. Best pcp Ive met in sf. His office is a little scattered and hes sometimes late (even been early a few times) to appointments but saving people is what he does. Hes always down to Google stuff together, likes hearing about your fitness tracker data and really digs into the root of the problem instead of dropping some meds and calling it a day. A product manager in the doctoral profession.
Knowledgeable and considerate
Doctor is patient and listens to his clients concerns.
My husband and I have been patients of Dr Fongs since approximately 1986. We recommend Dr. Fong highly.(Our young adult son is about to become a patient as well.)The unconventional office (a house on 19th Ave.) may put some off. However, it is very easy to park there. Some may find the praying a bit odd....if that is the case, you can just decline!Great office....thi is the one to choose if you dont want a sterile, impersonal ennvironment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
