Kentfield Hospital San Francisco's Online Review Report Card

My grandmother was admitted to this hospital for rehabilitation earlier this year right before her death. I can't speak for the care that she received while in the hospital as they were very restrictive with visitors because of the pandemic(so we weren't able to stay with her for extended periods of time), but the way the hospital handled the situation around the time of her death was downright appalling.The day before her death, her children wanted to visit her at the hospital but were denied despite being healthy and fully vaccinated, essentially denying them the chance to see their mother alive for the last time.On the day of her death, her condition worsened suddenly and the hospital did not inform her family of this and kept the details of her health a secret.And the day after her passing, we were unable to start her funeral because the hospital could not decide on which department was responsible for her at the time of her death and therefore would not issue a death certificate for her, leaving us in limbo for the entire day.

Older place but nice and clean. Most of the staff is nice and friendly. My mom stayed there for a month and a made a few friends with some of the staff. At times the staff may be a little stretch but they do their best to accommodate thier patients. The respiratory therapist team did an amazing job. The PT team did a pretty good job.

My family and I are very thankful to Kentfiled Hospital, doctors and staff.  Especially Dr. Yernani, for taking over my moms care. She has been very compassionate with her and takes her time to explain the plan of care.  Ofelia (RT), thank you for always having the patience in helping her out.  Michael Florence, thank you for always always checking in with us and making sure our needs are taken care of and for always covering my mom with a warm blanket in the mornings.  Kim, CNA thank you thank you thank you for always taking the time to clean her and reposition her and providing all the good care for her. To all the other staff we appreciate all you do as well. Thank you!The staff tries their best although under staff seems to be a problem everywhere now a days. But keep up the great work and GOD bless.

I want to thank all Doctors Nurses, Respiratory therapists and CNAs for the wonderful care they have been giving my mother.  I want to specially thank Mr. Michael Florence in the Concierge Quality Dept.  for being so nice to my mother and our whole family.   Michael walks around Kentfield Hospial every day making sure every one is well taken care of.  He made it possible for my sister and I to stay over night with our mother.  Our mother has made great progress @ Kentfield Hospital thanks to all the staff involved in her care.

Nice doctors and nurses. They will do anythinh for you. just ask. The staff is really nice to be around.

Was wonderful until you dealt with the caseworkers. And the nurses and the specially workers it was a day by day basis. Great day awful day You always need somebody there to watch out. Therapy awful

The staff is very friendly and kind. The meals 😋 were very delicious and hot, home made. My stay at Kentfield was extremely loved and I was very well taken cared of. I would definitely recommend..
