I'm picky about physician reviews, that's why I rarely even post them at all. However, I was impressed enough with Dr. Kristyn Beck and staff that I'm willing to write a 5 star review after a single visit. Dr. Beck is the new kid on the block with Dermatology Inc of Virginia. She is with two veteran dermatologist. From what I understand she is the only doctor taking new patients. She trained at EVMS under respected pediatric Dr. Judith Williams of CHKD. Dr. Beck treats both adults and children. The staff was friendly when checking in. The patient waiting room is small and dated, but clean and comfortable. After new patient forms were completed I was called back in around 25 minutes. I loved her beside manner immediately upon entering the exam room. She was easy to talk to, knowledgeable and smiled. An immediate diagnosis, treatment plan and prescription was achieved in 10 minutes. No follow up was required. Dr. Beck is young, energetic and eager to lift the practice off the ground accepting new patients. Most insurance plan are accepted. I would 100% recommend her to any family or friend for dermatology needs.
