Like I'm sure would be true for many - I was not in a great place when I sought out Dr. Boyce's assistance. She saw and addressed every angle of my issues while providing a welcoming, warm, and safe environment to start healing and getting better. Easily one of the best medical professionals I've ever encountered and a wonderful person to boot. I can't recommend her strongly enough.

During the time I was seeing Kristie Boyce, my life was turned around. That's when my relationship stabilized, and that's when I got promoted. I was seeing her for depression. She is an attentive listener, she talks about things with mindfulness, and is very good at what she does. One of the things she does is when you feel like you're not good enough, she helps put all the great things you've done into perspective as great. She helps you realize "hey, that IS a lot for myself" and "I AM helpful" and "Hey, they actually respect me". She made a great suggestion catered to my planning-focused personality, which is to schedule my alone time for once a week. In the mindfulness kind of manner, she repeats back to me what I told her but helps me see the positive points. She is empathetic, and it's like talking to a friend instead. The rare part about her is she does Psychotherapy along with being able to prescribe and adjust medication. Ever since I moved out of SF, it's been hard to find that combo of a good psychotherapist + prescribing medicine. It's been a year and a half since I said goodbye to her, and it felt like a great loss. Kinda tearing up thinking about it... Five stars...I miss her, and you will not regret giving her a call/text/email!
