Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Lindy Fox's Reviews
I had multiple visits with Dr Fox in UCSF in the last few years. Always resolving for me all skin issues either by the right medicine or the right procedure. Very professional and attentive. Highly recommend
Dr. Fox seemed knowledgable and very confident. Unfortunately I felt as though the bedside manner could use a big improvement. I can overlook that but I also felt as though she didnt explain my condition well include me in treatment decisions or provide clear followup information.
The system at UCSF is horrible. You will wait forever to get an appointment. Then you will wait hours on the day of your appointment as appointment times seem to be only approximate. That being said you need to decide if an appointment with Dr. Fox is worth the wait. Her participation in 46 articles makes her attractive to a teaching school like UCSF. It does not guarantee a thorough exam by a Doctor with any kind of bedside manner. After two visits I decided to go elsewhere.
Dr. Fox is extremely thorough during her skin exam. I have been to several other dermatologists who do not spend half the time that she does examining my skin for issues. I have history of melanoma so I am very cognizant of what a thorough exam feels like. She also has a lovely bedside manner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
