Mark Savant's Online Review Report Card

We made appointment. Receptionist was nasty and unpleasant. Did not take blue shield california which cost us 1500 monthlyIs no longer with sutter physians. Despite being listed. The most unhelp person i have ever met. Failed to inform us while making appointnent that omly non california blue shield is accepted.

Whether its Dr Savant who fills in for Dr Kim when hes out of town or the staff, I find this office to be the best and most helpful to any patient. I see that some say they are rude and incompetent but have you ever thought if these front desk coordinators are swamped with nonstop emails for multiple doctors, patients, insurance companies and pharmacist to having to verify medications? That in itself is a lot of work to juggle. I think many should really take a step back to think about how much work they handle before writing a bad review and showing empathy towards them. Im sure many are feeling vulnerable with whatever health ailments one is dealing with but I dont think negatively bashing these workers who are doing their best is the way to go. I am so impressed with this office and will be grateful towards each of them for the rest of my life. I think when it comes to health, its important to try your best to live a healthy lifestyle to the best of your ability. There are instances when something may happen that is out of your control but I find that being positive, eager to go back to a healthy life, and trying your best to be happy is important. I would be delighted to explain what I have gone through with my own health and how this medical office and Dr Kim, Itzel, Dr Savant and everyone I have encountered here have assisted me. Each person here is incredibly warm and will do their best in finding a solution to your health. You wont find any other doctor in the Bay Area who will listen intently and want to find the best direction for a long term health plan for you. I truly believe that Dr Kim is the most caring, trustworthy and stellar human being and I know Dr Savant has the same characteristic when caring for a patient. Having patience with the staff and the doctors as taking into consideration that we arent the only ones they need to care for will go a long way.

I use to go to Dr. Savant. He prescribed a monthly prescription that was expensive (nongeneric)  $100/month. When he changed over his practice to a concierge service I decided to seek another doctor. I found a wonderful alternative doctor who prescribed a generic alternative that work great for less than $15/month. This made me wonder was Dr. Savant not aware of this alternative or were their other benefits for him to prescribe a drug still under patent. I dont know the answer but regardless either way the answer is not good.

Dr. Savant is a wonderful caring physician.  However, his staff is incompetent and rude.  I cannot even get a message to Dr. Savant through his staff.  They cannot even get my name correct even though I have been a patient of Dr. Savant for over ten years.

Dr. Kim is a rock star in the medical community. While Im not thrilled with the St. Marys medical scene (and catholic health in general), Dr. Gene has been solid every step of the way. He has taken extrodinary care of me and my family for many years and I would be reluctant to go anywhere else. If youre loking for a good primary care physician, look no futhter.

Amazing manner, very knowledgeable and  very kind. I highly recommend him for any general practice needs.

I am a new patient of Dr. Savant and so far it’s been wonderful. He truly listens and don’t feel rushed at all. The office is clean and the front desk is on it when it comes to making appointments and follow ups!
