Normally dont write reviews, but I am humbled to say thank you to everyone here at the San Francisco Vein Center. The front desk is polite and followed up on my appointments. Everything from the Consultation to the day of the procedure was as smooth as possible. Dr. Aquino is the perfect doctor to go to, she made sure to walk me through my options for my varicose veins and on the day of the procedure everything went perfect and now I am healing fine. If I could give additional stars I would. THANK YOU!

Who likes going to doctor offices? Well with Dr. Aquino and the whole staff especially Adriana and Marta i actually look forward to it. Like visiting family the atmosphere is so friendly but  very professional at the same time, and i can tell Dr Aquino really cares about my whole wellfare not just what she fixed. If you get referred to that office(lucky) and go in with confidense

I wish there were more stars to give Dr. Aquino and her staff. As a healthcare provider for 43 years, I can say she is the best a clinical expert, professional yet very pleasant and caring. Visiting her office feels like visiting your favorite family members. I havent worn anything showing my legs for decades and now I can because of her expert work. I expected to pay for the services but they were covered by my insurance. I wish I had found her sooner.

This is my first time going to Dr. Melinda Aquino, I was referred to her by primary doctor. My first experience with Dr. Aquino went as planned. She Is very professional and informed me about my surgery (pre and post). Everything was on scheduled. Even under the COVID situation, she was able to fit in an emergency surgery. She made sure I was doing OK after my surgery. I would definitely recommend her! Thanks Dr. Aquino.The office staff was also very helpful and friendly. The office as well was organized and clean.

A few weeks ago, Dr. Aquino performed an emergency surgery on my mom and words cant express our deep gratitude for all she has done.  She really is the best of the best with a very kind and compassionate heart.  Although, we were not allowed to be at the hospital (due to the Covid19 pandemic) to comfort and support my mom, especially when she needed her family the most, she never felt alone.  Dr. Aquino and her awesome team were there for herevery step of the way.  From the time, my mom stepped foot in the hospital to the time when she was released to go home, Dr. Aquino and her team proved to be like a second family for my mom.  Like any major surgery,  it can be overwhelming, especially, since my mom is 82 years old, but Dr. Aquino educated us and at the same time reassured us that the surgery will be successful and she was absolutely right!  My mom received the very best medical care all because of the expertise of Dr. Aquino.  We can never repay her in our lifetime.  That being said, Dr. Aquino, on behalf of my mom and the entire Gutierrez family, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you a million times for everything!

Just had my appendix removed in which Dr. Aquino performed the surgery. She made me feel very comfortable from beginning to end. She told me word for word about the entire process. Very down to earth and just made me feel like everything would be ok. She was by my side before my anesthesia and was there when I woke up. My incision is barely noticeable given the fact she had to cut through a large tattoo. Could not be more pleased with Dr. Aquino Thank You So Much!

Where to begin?  I hesitated to write this review but then all communications with the office staff included an invite to write a Yelp review.   My appointment was for 9:30 am and my husband and I decided Bart from the East Bay would be our best alternative.  Im a firm believer that you should not keep doctor waiting as that delays the next patients appointment time.   We left at 7:30 and managed to catch the connecting shuttle bus to Seton Medical.  Imagine when I overheard the receptionist tell someone on the phone that the doctor would not be in till 1 pm and that the technician I was also scheduled to see was delayed in traffic.  I had received no less than THREE reminders to make my scheduled appointment or I would face at least $150++ in charges.  And I even called the day before to check on my appointment and spoke directly with the same receptionist. Turns out the doctor had cancelled all her morning appt appointments three weeks earlier, but I had never received that memo, just the ones reminding me not to forget my appointment.Yes, a mistake was made and I was assured the doctor would call me and go over the technicians results.  Yes, I waited half an hour for the techs arrival (why couldnt he leave earlier for work, so he could be on time?) Needless to say the doctor never called; the buck really stops with her.After talking to several doctor buddies all advised against using an office that is SO irresponsible.  What happens if you have an emergency or need something after surgery?  The errors just kept piling on:  1) asked for techs report; same receptionist sent 2/3 pages.  When I requested the last page she said Oh, you wanted the full report?  2) Upon arriving at the office for the ill fated visit I gave the receptionist my medicare card.  A month later she called to get the info again.  It took 3 attempts till she could absorb the information.  Maybe the phone line had static at her end.

We love Dr. Aquino she saved our dads life. She was very attentive to our concerns, answered all questions and did not hesitate to provide additional details that were easy to understand.  The best part, she was very optimistic in her plan for our dad we felt satisfied that we were making the right decision for the procedure.  And even better, as expected, our dad is making strides in recovery.  Much gratitude to Dr. Aquino!

I am very impressed of Dr Aquinos treatment. Now my legs looks so awesome and most important is I dont feel pain anymore like I used to after a long day of work. I highly recommend as the best varicose vein doctor.

I had 3 surgeries with Dr Aquino.  She is an excellent and caring doctor!  I had an amazing outcome and was so pleased with her office staff.
