In 2014 I was diagnosed with cancer, felt lost & confused. My family dr referred me to Dr. Lewis. She is caring & understanding. Dr. Lewis saved my life. Might sound weird but I look forward to seeing Dr. Lewis & Ann ( office manager). Ann always greets me with a warm smile & has an amazing sense of humor. She takes my worries away. Love them both dearly. Made me feel at ease even as I was facing a very challenging disease ! Always explains things thoroughly ....

If you are looking for an outstanding excellent breast surgeon, Dr. Pamela Lewis is the one. I am a 16 year breast cancer survivor who is indebted to her. She is my gift from God. From the moment I met her, and to this day, she has given me HOPE. She is supportive, caring, thorough, encouraging, compassionate, kind, patient, and loving. Dr. Lewis is passionate about her patients and her field of medicine. I have referred many people to Dr. Lewis and they have come back to thank me. Dr. Lewis continues to monitor me on a regular basis. I have complete trust in her. Her bedside manner and rapport with patients coupled with her sense of humor, makes her the consummate doctor. Dr Lewis took amazing care of me. Thank you! Forever thank you. She is an amazingly caring & considerate person. And, she's got a great sense of humor. If I could give 10 stars, I'd do it!          EXCELLENT SURGEONDr Lewis does great handiwork. Her surgery approach is both skillful and beautiful. You will be lucky to have her because her work is done with "plastic surgeon"-like care. Now, when I have a routine medical exam, doctors comment that given my surgical history - they give kudos to my breast surgeon. CARE FROM THE HEARTDr. Lewis took care & time to educate, CONVINCE ME to proceed with surgery...  I was in shock and denial at first (no family history, I'm far too young) and was an emotional, anxious, smarty-pants patient ("oh, I'll just eat organic and see if this resolves" give me a few months and let's see another mammogram)... My God. Looking back, I'm just grateful that Dr. Lewis didn't give up the struggle (that I put up) and continued to care for me, take care of me. Thank you!FIGHTING FOR YOUI fought through a mountain of insurance hoops. Dr Lewis' office dealt with another pile that I didn't even REALIZE was going on. While we are getting medical attention from our doctors (trying to do the right thing for patients without cutting off all our body parts), these same doctors are fighting with insurance to get paid for their services.A+ gold star  for Ann, my angel of an office manager. She's a fighter and she fights for us ALL DAY LONG. I've gone through days -- one in particular where I literally spent 6 hours on the phone dealing with health insurance, authorizations, billing -- and it made me want to hurt someone, bad. So, I am just grateful that Ann was there for me. She even mailed me the final "all clear" mammogram results with a sweet note after it was all done.

Dr. Lewis is the most intelligent, caring, gifted doctor I have ever encountered.  She is my breast cancer doctor. She stays up to date with research, her surgical skills are the best I have ever seen.  She is the most caring doctor that I have.  I wish all my doctors were like her.  I love  going to my appointments with her. She is the model for the best of what a great doctor should and can be. My surgery was successful and I have been cancer free for 16 years now and I owe my health to Dr. Lewis. I got three opinions before choosing Dr. Lewis and she was by far the very best in the Bay Area. Her office staff has always been caring and kind as well. L.S.

I like this doctor very much.. She was referred to me by Dr. Wendy Zeng. I have had breast cancer and have had a lumpectomy of the left breast.. I am very pleased because they keep on top of the subject and they let me know if there is anything out of the ordinary, especially since Cancer runs in my family genes.

This is by far one of San Francisco's finest Customer Care Facilities. Dr. Lewis. is such a joy. The front desk lady named Ann, Omg she is so amazing The first time I brought my mom there, Ann totally made me feel like I was at home. She treats you like family, is what I'm saying.  Any way, please come by, and at least say hello to these awesome women! "I love going to the doctor's office!" Said no one ever. But you know, I don't mind going to see Ann (office manager) and Dr. Lewis. They are so friendly, laid back and funny, that it totally takes the edge off going to see the doc. Ann is a powerhouse, handling all calls, insurance issues and basically keeping up the administrative end in a light hearted, helpful and intelligent manner. Dr. Lewis is amazing in her care and breadth of knowledge. She is thorough and professional with a wonderful bedside manner. She was open to me using alternative care, which is important as I follow eastern medicine for healing in conjunction with western methodologies. Love this practice!

she never rushes you, makes you feel you are her only patient. she is kind and caring, and a great surgeon. I had breast cancer 8 years ago and she still sees me yearly, it brings me peace of mind. I would recommend her to everyone!
