Quita V. Cruciger's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Cruciger's for twenty-five years so clearly, I like her very much.  Due to medications I take for a transplant, I have to see her quarterly for a head to toe body scan to check for medication-related cancers.  She is very thorough and, yes, uses a magnifying glass for validating initial suspicions.  I have yet to know of a single spot that she misdiagnosed nor has she ever missed a spot.  She stays up to date on my other medical conditions without being intrusive.  When asked, she has given advice on where to obtain care that I need for a non-dermatological problem.  In between the decisive medical care I receive from her, we have had conversations about art, travel, gardening, politics, dogs, and restaurants.  Unlike most doctors I see, many of whom don't know how to communicate while they deliver their care, she has maintained a warm and sincere kindness that includes this uplifting talk while delivering serious care.  I love her for it.

Very disappointing call with the front staff. He cut me off and was short with me and then when I explained I was trying to give pertinent information about the patient (not me) he then called me defensive before hanging up on me.  When you're stressed about trying to get a last minute appointment for a condition this is the last thing you need.

I just found out that the doctor was offered an agreement to let the patients get a better reimbursement on the claims they make after going to her, thus they would get more of their money back, and the doctor refused it... To think that she does not want to help the economy of the patients...

I have been seeing Dr. Cruciger every six months since 1987, and if you HAVE to see a dermatologist, she is the one to take care of your cancer and pre-cancerous lesions.  In that time, she has, indeed, spotted three squamous cells that required surgery, and has removed scores (maybe more) of the precancerous things.  While a visit to the dermatologist after growing up in the Deep South is never pain-free, I always look forward to my visits with her, and have complete confidence that she knows what she's doing.  Peter and Fernando, her office managers, always provide laughs as well as important information of their own.

I have been seeing Dr. Cruciger for a few years now for skin cancer screening, and I have tremendous respect for her. It is very difficult to find the combination of professional competence and a very well managed office. And, though my priority is her competence and that of her staff, she's very pleasant as well, which is a nice bonus.

Dr. Cruciger may do an adequate job but her friendliness is HORRIBLE! If I could give less than 1 star, I would. She has no personality. She needs to realize there's always someone newer and younger so the least she could do to have a leg up on that is have a nice attitude. I will never go back. I'll definitely go for the youthful and happy Dr, than one who is a mean old woman

Well, I have been going to Dr. Cruciger for 25 years, and that should say a lot. Two early-diagnosed skin cancers later and countless pre-cancerous growths removed give me all the motivation I need to see her every six months. Highly-regarded in the medical community, her professionalism is of the highest order. Several other incidents received her full attention, with regular phone calls to follow up on the care given by other specialists to whom she referred me. If you can get on her patient list, consider yourself fortunate.

I have been seeing Dr. Quita Cruciger for over 10 years.  She is an absolutely fabulous and sensitive doctor.  Her staff are caring and astute and I always feel like I am in the best of care.  Her energy is just so genuine as is her staff.  She has taken care that I keep all my skin issues under control (body and face).  She is always quick to return calls when needed.  I cannot say enough about her.  Thank you Dr. Quita Cruciger for keeping my face smooth!!!!!  (No more rosacea or acne for that matter!)
