List of Rakhi Sarkar's Reviews
I love Dr. Sarkar and followed her to Nest from a previous practice. I understand she's leaving Nest and hope I can find out where she goes. I'm 75-year-old and think she is the best general practitioner I have ever seen. She listens to what I say and takes me seriously. I've been anemic all my life and she is the only doctor who suggested I see a hemotologic, who gave me iron infusions which helped me feel much better. Highly recommend Dr. Sarkar.
Dr Sarkar is fantastic.
I have been a patient of Dr. Sarkar's for several years now and she has correctly diagnosed and treated several illnesses for me. When I first saw her, it was her first week at Premier Healthcare of North Texas I was unsure, as I would be about any new doctor, of her knowledge, bedside manor and ability to communicate effectively with me. In very short order I found her to be friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. She is very straight forward and explains things in plain English- why she wants to perform certain tests and never "talks down" to me. I never feel rushed and she takes the time to explain in as much detail as necessary, the issue\procedure\test results under discusion. She listens to me and takes into consideration my feelings about certain drugs and my reaction to them. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new doctor and I partially give her credit for getting me back to healthy state I am in now.
My cholesterol level shot up the roof. But I have not gotten a follow-up call until I reached out to the office.
I found Dr. Sarkar to be a caring and thorough physician. Follow-up visits were efficient always, indicating to me that Dr. Sarkar had reviewed my file before my office visit. I'm sorry to see her leave the Addison Family Medicine Group. I hope to reconnect with her at a future location.
My expectations to go back to see Dr. Sarkar were incredibly high due to a magnificent first visit. However, during my second visit, her rudeness and horrible unprofessional behavior destroyed my first magical experience at her clinic. To my surprise, she was belligerent, disrespectful and her demeanor was inexcusable for a health care professional that deals with the physcology of an illness and the understandable ignorance of patients. If you need medical help consider another doctor.
I've been with Addison Family Associates 12 years and have remained through Six Doctor changes. I have left the group because Dr. Rakhi Sarkar (the current Dr. here) does not follow through on having medication she has approved in the examination room in timely fashion (sometimes 24 hours or more with the pharmacist and my personal "late" reminder calls. She, then refuses to renew the prescription unless you come back to the office for another exam...this is a week or so later and I may have been ill once or twice in the entire past year. I've never been a sickly person. Dr. Sarkar has not been personable as my primary care Doctor. She has not once personally spoken to me when I have called the office back for a renewal or health questions. Her Staff responds Dr.sakar says... and most of the time they say "Dr. Sakar will not prescribe the renewal without you coming back in for further examination. Just over a week ago I was examined and she concluded the chest congestion, cough (causing sore throat) and ringing in my ears were were because of a summer cold/allergies. She prescribed nothing but instructed me to buy and use Allegra and a nasal spray. Two days later I called with practically no voice and more irritated symptoms asking for a shot, steroids or amoxicillin or something. She prescribed amoxicillin. This is now a week or so later and the condition which had nearly subsided has now worsened again. In calling her office for a one time prescription renewal of amoxicillin her Staff says she has stated she insists I come in again... for reevaluation. This is redundant and finally troubling enough that my wife has agreed with me that Dr. Sarkar and Addison Family Medicine Association will no longer be my Dr. or medical practice I count on. Very sad after 12 years s but physician care and service is unacceptable.
Leaving Addison Family Medical Care and specifically Dr. Rakhi Sarkar as her lack of personal health care and follow through is unacceptable. I had been a patient of this group 12 years and through 6 Doctor turnovers.
Nearly always have to contact office to request prior approved prescription be submitted to pharmacy. Response time is often 1-2 days. Unacceptable

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
