I’ve been working with Dr. Greg Zimmerman for a while now and have had such a positive experience. He isn’t just a great practitioner—he also has extensive knowledge of herbal medicine and a deep understanding of TCM. He takes the time to carefully listen and understand my condition before making recommendations. Most of the time, I do online herbal consultations with him, and the customized herbal formulas he creates get drop-shipped straight to me, which is incredibly convenient and makes it easy to stay consistent with my care. When he’s in town, I also receive in-person acupuncture and bodywork sessions from him, and they are always spot on. The treatments feel deeply restorative, and I always leave feeling more balanced and relaxed. The office environment itself is also worth mentioning—it’s very soothing and healing, located in a beautiful historic building. The treatment rooms are surprisingly spacious, which is rare to find in the city, and it makes the whole experience even more comfortable and grounding. Even as an acupuncturist myself, he’s the only practitioner I choose to see because I trust him more than anyone. I really appreciate the thoughtful care and flexibility he provides, whether online or in person.

Wow - I had never done acupuncture but they are incredible. Have sent 3 people there now it was so good. Beware they say they take your insurance and than may charge you a month later without you being aware of it

To say I love this place is an understatement. I have been on a journey attempting to heal chronic pain issues due to back injuries, and the team at Retreat have become my secret weapon. Karinn and Candise are the most gifted acupuncturists I've worked with, however saying so doesn't scratch the surface of impact they've had on me. They both listen carefully and intuitively, and their gentle approach and touch has eased my needle anxiety while maximizing impact of the treatments. While I didn't think to come to Candise with concerns about extremely dry skin all over my body (that I would scratch at night while sleeping to the point of leaving marks), I happened to mention it during a session for my back. Candise recommended introducing a combination of vitamin E, zinc and evening primrose. It WORKED IMMEDIATELY! I had tried every cream and lotion in existence without success. She knew my issue was stemming from internal balance issues. She is a goddess! Don't waste a second thinking about whether or not to book an appointment: do it!

Karinn Gallagher is an angel. Her ability to heal the mind, body, and spirit is a gift. I highly recommend seeking her treatment for acupuncture, body work, and cupping.

Would highly recommend this place if you are unsure of acupuncture. It was my first time and it was a great experience. It's in a lovely building with a beautiful garden out front. The staff is super friendly. Karinn was great and goes out of her way to provide a relaxing experience. Definitely worth a visit (and probably many more).

I've seen Karinn at Retreat Acupuncture several times, she's a wonderful practitioner. The office is serene and calm, I'm always relaxed and centered after a visit at Retreat. The front desk is efficient in booking appointments and managing insurance billing. I highly recommend Retreat!

Edith is not only an amazing acupuncturist, but also wonderful person who truly cares about your well being and health. I have never had such a gentle and effective treatment. She truly knows and is passionate about the practice!

An amazing, peaceful, and healing space. Located in a gorgeous historic building with a spacious front garden, you swiftly feel a sense of calm and good vibes. Edith is *HEAVEN-sent* -- has an ultra-soothing demeanor, is compassionate, positive, super-knowledgable and talented! Over a few sessions, she whittled down a gross (visible!) knot I had in my shoulder to nothingness, restored my range of motion, reduced my chronic pain, *and* was happy to explain what she was doing, why, and what I could do at home to help self-heal. I also had one lovely session with Karinn, who is incredibly personable and strong! My muscles felt tenderized (in a good way) after the session. Even the front office is super-welcoming and kind (Cassandra, Liliya, & James!) Really, I have nothing bad to say about this place. I wish I could go every day.

Retreat Acupuncture is amazing! Rachel is an incredible acupuncturist and cares about your entire well-being. I highly recommend seeing her as my back pain really subsided. Very clean facilities and the staff make you feel so comfortable and right at home. It's a spa-type experience for acupuncture!
