Decepción total. Tenia muchas esperanzas en que el Doc Ricardo Alvarez habria estado dispuesto ayudarme a encontrar una solución a mi malestar y que hubiera una buena comunicación pues es de origen hispano. Espere mas de 2 meses para conseguir una cita con el. El dia de mi cita , no se tomo el tiempo para leer mi expediente, ni mis resultados de un ultrasonido en la vesicula que tanto estaba esperando. Me dijo q tenia piedras en la vesicula, pero a mi ya me avian dicho en otro consultorio que no eran piedras. Me mando un medicamento para ese malestar . No fue asta que yo le dije lo que en otro consultorio me habian dicho lo que tenia. Lo tubo q buscar en Internet y medio explicarme . Me dijo QUE SI QUERIA MAS INFORMACION , LO BUSCARA EN INTERNET. Y ni siquiera se tomo la moloestia de cambiar el medicamento que m receto con lo que el creia q yo tenia.Se molesto cuando le comente que tenia una molestia en mi pecho tambien ,y el muy disgustado me dijo que eso ya era otra cosa. Me hizo un examen fisico tan secillo y rapido.NO LE PUDE COMENTAR DE OTROS MALESTARES Q TENIA porq se fue del cuarto donde atienden a los pacientes. ES UNA PERSONA QUE SE A OLVIDO DEL PROPOSIOTO DE SU PROFESIÓN, Y SOLO HACE EL TRABAJO POR CUMPLIR CON SUS HORARIO LABORAL. NO SE PREOCUPA EN LO MAS MINIMO POR AYUDAR A PACIENTE.

As many have stated, the staff is tremendous. Dr. Alvarez seems a bit “scattered” at times. Wait times are at least 60-90 mins AFTER your scheduled time to see him, so please prepare to wait. I feel I have to continually remind him of my issues as he tends to rely solely on a labs. I notice he’ll also ask a question, but is extremely rushed as you attempt to answer.

Has given me too much medications. Always has more the next visit. Has given me medications contrary to my health issues. Makes me wait an hour every time. Has come into my room, dropped off his pc and left to talk to staff. When he returns I have to retell him the same thing over and over like he doesn't read his notes or care about me at all. Seems like he's more into giving me medication than understanding my problem. Was promised help for an issue and waited weeks and had to keep calling to remind them. Still never got the promised solution and it's been 2 months. Don't really think he cares

Very professional and his knowledge with the expertise they are not in doubt. The staff in overall they are great. My recommendation of Dr. Ricardo Alvarez they will for everyone they want still healthy and enhance his health.

I have been on an insulin pump for about 1.5 years and was doing well until earlier this year. When my prior endocrinologist did nothing I decided to get a second opinion. That is when I saw Dr Alvarez. My comfort level started low and continued to plummet as everything he told me to do was against everything I had learned over my 20+ years as a diabetic. He wanted me to test my less often rather than more often and to only bolus at mealtimes and not to correct a high sugar level. Since my last visit I went to the ADA website to research insulin pump therapy to ensure that things had not changed. Everything Dr Alvarez told me was contrary to what the ADA recommended. I therefore will not see this doctor again.

I have continued to do well with DR alvarez
