I've been a Patient of Dr. Glogau since 1990 when another Dermatologist misdiagnosed a condition I had at the time. Dr. Glogau instantly knew what and how to treat my condition....he's been my go to since....he's a super pleasant, smart, available and superb expert in the field!

I found out about silikon 1000 for acne scarring and have been to Dr. Glogau about 9 times now.Initially another doctor worked with me and I felt I did not get the treatment results I was looking for due to her more conservative approach due to the permanent nature of the procedure.Dr. Glogau remedied this beyond my expectations. I plan on sceduling my next appt soon.A person does better for themselves and the world when they FEEL good about themselves.

I highly recommend Dr. Glogau If you are on the search for a dermatologist. The office itself is nice and clean with wonderful views of the city. The staff is attentive and professional. Although a busy clinic, I've never had a problem scheduling an appointment.Dr. Glogau is wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and with a great bedside manner. He always takes the time to answer all of my cosmetic concerns. I've gotten amazing results from the treatments performed by Dr. Glogau.Overall I am always very pleased with the service Dr. Glogau and his staff provide.

After 18 months of going to this practice, I have decided to go elsewhere. The office staff are unbearably rude, both when making appointments over the phone, when greeting, and when taking payments. There is usually a 20 to 30 minute wait each appointment. During my last appointment, I met Dr. Glogau for the first time (this was my 5th visit to his office) and found his care to be rather rushed and impersonal. He pretended to know and recognize me, even after I explained this was the first time he was meeting me. The only reason I enjoyed going to this practice was because one of his associates, Dr. Kane, was so professional and caring in her attentions during each prior appointment. Since Dr. Kane has moved to another practice, I have decided to move with her to continue my treatment.

Honestly, I’ve never written a review on google. But this situation deserves it. The staff kept me waiting for over 40 minutes and then said it might be another 15 minutes. Then when they said they would accommodate my schedule they proceeded to tell methat I would have to wait a least another week. Apparently caring about your patient doesn’t exist in this practice. Time for a new doctor.

Having made the regrettable mistake of missing my appointment with my regular dermatologist and consequently being rescheduled three weeks out for something I was already two months overdue for getting checked, the hypochondriac in me kicked into full gear and started hunting around for other dermatologists in the area that could see me sooner (and, you know, make sure I wasn't going to die a slow painful death).Some fifteen dermatologist calls later, I finally call up Dr Glogau's clinic, which, surprisingly, was the only one who was NOT booked out for the next three to five weeks. This may be, in part, due to the fact that they aren't contracted with any of the Blues (Shield or Cross), making any visits to his clinic an out-of-network one, unless you're with the likes of Aetna, Cigna, UHC, or a few other insurers. But, price be (somewhat) damned, I wanted my peace of mind at that point, and he was able to see me day of, so in I went.After waiting about 15 minutes in the waiting room, two of the nurses showed me in and did a quick new patient intake study. This part, admittedly, had me raise some eyebrows, because it gave me the slight vibe that they were more accustomed to handling cosmetic cases than medical ones, but this may have been because the primary nurse handling intake was actually in training under the accompanying nurse.Dr Glogau came in some ten minutes later, and he, on the other hand, was as friendly and professional as you would hope any of your doctors to be. He spent time the time to look over my various concerns, answered all my questions patiently, and asked to check out a few other areas just to have things on record, concluding the same things as my primary dermatologist, so having two coinciding diagnoses certainly gave extra peace of mind.Would I come again? I hope not, because it means I've erred and missed another appointment with my primary. But, if that unfortunate situation were to happen again and I simply can't wait to be seen, absolutely, yes.
