Coreen is an incredible practitioner of her craft. She manages to be both direct and comforting, self-aware and nurturing. I went in with no previous acupuncture experience, and perhaps even a little cynicism, and left a superfan of Coreen's and a total convert. For anyone who is also in the tornado of fertility treatments, Coreen is who you want on your team. She balances action and planning with the utmost care, flexibility and light touch needed in those tender moments. Coreen, thank you - forever indebted to you.

I went to see Coreen after struggling with long Covid for months. I had tried multiple recommendations from my HMO and nothing was helping with my symptoms. She was very thorough and took the time to do a full assessment of my history before recommending a treatment plan. She did a combination of gua sha, acupuncture and light therapy. She also recommended some changes to my diet. After 6 sessions my symptoms had cleared and I was finally feeling better. I would highly recommend her.

This review is long overdue… I followed Coreen from her last clinic and was so excited when she opened her own practice. Working with Coreen is liking dipping yourself in a balm of self care. She is my secret weapon for a variety of ailments ranging from stress to back pain to the common cold (she knocks them right out!). She takes the time to listen and is extremely thorough, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. She knows how to put herself in the patient’s shoes and walks you through the process and the treatment plan so you know what to expect. If you are looking for a warm and caring practitioner who truly cares about your well being, I can’t recommend Coreen enough.

I cannot recommend Second Spring enough. I was new to acupuncture and went for women's health reasons, and Coreen was not only holistic and customized in her approach, she knew exactly how much to explain to me to help me understand the process, the trade-offs, and was very transparent about the costs. I also like that she was pretty conservative/risk averse in her treatments and didn't want to push too many things at once. The experience for me was really like a 3-in-1 treatment: it's relaxing/re-balancing to my overall digestion/sleep, etc. it created real outcomes (successfully pregnant and maintained past scary 1st tri), and it feels like therapy in some ways. She made Chinese herbs very approachable as well.

Coreen came highly recommended as an acupuncturist specialized in women's health when I needed her the most. From the moment I contacted her I could feel her warmth and care. When I started working with her, her knowledge, skills, and intuition really showed. She would always adjust her treatment based on what I needed at the moment, and always went above and beyond to make it possible and accessible for me. She looked at what I was going through from a holistic standpoint, addressing sleep patterns, diet, etc, and offering suggestions about how to improve and achieve my goals. I had to move and I was really sad to stop working with her, as I had lots of hopes on the path we started together. If you are in San Francisco, I highly recommend her!

I had an incredible experience with Coreen. For three months, I met Coreen once a week to help with stress relief, menstrual cycle regulation, and improved sleep. After a few weeks, my menstrual cycle was finally regular, I was sleeping better, and I wasn't waking up several times at night. I was also less anxious. Even on the days when I wasn't feeling well, I would always leave Coreen's practice feeling more at ease and cheerful after our session. Coreen is a person that listens to your needs and collaborates with you to address all of your problems. She is the sweetest and kindest person I have met. I really can't quit gushing about how much I enjoyed getting acupuncture from her. I would strongly advise you to visit Coreen if you're considering trying acupuncture; it's life changing and Coreen makes the experience ten times better.

I came to Coreen with a pulled groin muscle that had been giving me pain over the last 5 years. I had tried everything, massage, chiropractor, physical therapy, nothing worked. She analyzed where and when I felt pain, and with the help of a few needles it was practically gone in four sessions. Highly recommend for anyone with a stubborn sports injury.
