Lacking a code of ethics, cold, disengaged, rude.Ng is the Dr for my elderly parents.I have been to several appointments with my parents and a few other of my family members have as well. They are all in agreement. She doesnt ever touch the patients, makes little eye contact, is short and cuts you off when you are talking, and she will leave the room ending the appointment with out a good bye, hope you feel better, I am sorry you are suffering..... nothing. She is the coldest, unfeeling Dr I have met. I dont ever think I have seen her smile. She also refused to give my elderly mother pain meds, that she uses at a minimum, and told her she is not a pain management Dr. WTF?Dignity Health Medical Director will be notified of the poor care they have received.Dignity Health has many problems, but eliminating this one would be a wise choice.
Will never go to this doctor again. She is completely incompetent and refuses to listen. I am an insomniac the minute my head hits the pillow, my brain goes into overdrive. My previous doctor and I tried various treatments including exercise, meditation, melatonin, etc. only after exhausting all options did we turn to sleep meds. Ambient was a life savior. Finally after a lifetime of fighting to get a few hours of rest, I could sleep for hours. My doctor moved away and I ended up at Dr. Ng. From the first appointment she was judgmental about my medication she knew nothing about me or my medical history, but right away told me that she didnt think I needed the meds for my fibromyalgia, back spasms, or sleep aid. I was in a motorcycle accident in my early 20s and have major back problems and knee problems. So I agree to drop some of the meds she gave no guidance on how to wean myself off the drugs to avoid complications. I have been in so much pain, but she doesnt care. She just doesnt want to deal with the paperwork. This last visit was the final straw she refuses to refill my sleep aid unless I gave a urine sample. The last refill I had was in April for 90 pills. I ran out in October. Six months. Id say its obvious I dont abuse the medicine. Like I mentioned above, she just doesnt want to deal with paperwork for controlled medication. My advice take two aspirin and find a different doctor
This horrible Dr has treated my mother as if she doesnt matter. Did not inform her of a serious health issue (she had to find out from another Dr) will not fill prescriptions in a timely manner and sometimes not at all. She threatens anyone who complains even in the most minor way and does not care in the slightest about her elderly patients. If Dignity Health actually cared based on the repetitive complaints something would be done about this person. She is putting lives at risk and is far below the oath she took when those ill or infirm are looking for care. I am horrified.
I like Dr. Ng she listens well and is very nice.

I initially went to see Dr. NG as my doctor is currently on sabbatical. Her office was one of the ones recommended. My wait time was not bad and Dr. Ng spent a few minutes with me asking some basic questions and recommended that I get a bone scan since my last one had been quite some time ago, which I did. I go to the doctor about once a year for my annual checkup unless something comes up. Well about two months ago I got a call from their office to set an appointment which I did. It was scheduled for about two months out due to mine and their schedules. About three weeks before my appointment is dropped off a prescription for refill. I did not realize it but there were no more refills available. The pharmacy sent a request through three times to the doctors office with no response so they asked me to call and see what the problem was. I called the office and was told that since it had been over a year the doctor would not ok the refill. I reminded them my next appointment was in two weeks and could they just send through a one time only refill since I was completely out. Much to my surprise they refused. Needless to say I was miffed. I cancelled my appointment and will never darken their doors again. Found a new doctor right away
When I had my first visit with Dr. Ng I explained to her that I was looking for a Dr. that would listen to what the patient had to say. She did at first. After seeing her the third time I explained to the assistant that I had several things I had to discuss with the Dr. She told me that the Dr. only spends 15 min. with her pts. I was quit upset when she told me that. After waiting about 25 min. to see the Dr. She came into the room told me she was sorry for being late but she had gone to the dentist yesterday so she had to take care of her teeth. She then moved on to discuss my lab work. I explained to her that I had some paper work that I wanted to talk to her about. She told me that she was going to increase my meds for my thyroid and then proceeded to get up and tell me to stay there. I waited thinking that the Dr. was returning instead the assistant come back into the room to tell me that I can leave now. I asked where is the dr. she said she is already in with other pts. I said I wasnt finished talking to the dr. She said youll have to talk to her next time you come back to see her. I was very upset how did she know if what I had to talk to the dr. wasnt very serious? Sorry I think that was very rude and very unprofessional of both the assistant and the Doctor. I wont be going back there again. I pay my insurance every month to be able to see the doctor. Its bad enough that you have to wait three months just to see her again. Very sad that as a senior I dont get the professional care that is needed. As an advocate for people with disabilities I know that I do not have to be treated like that and will let anyone know that talks to me about Dr. Ng. Sorry it turned out this way. But they really need to learn good people skills and understand that when a pt. comes to see a dr. they are wanting answers to help them not get brushed off as though the pt. doesnt know what they are talking about. Sorry for the long review but there is no other way to explain it.
Long wait and PA was very judgmental without having a medical history to base her opinion on. Doctor does not do any pain management or comfort care for long term debilitating illness such as arthritis or fibromyalgia. She will refer you to a pain management specialist. I dont have the time or desire to visit different doctors.
If you are looking for an experienced doctor who can talk with you and identify your health issues with you and give clear and intelligent explanations of what is happening and what you need to do then you should make an appointment with Sheralene Ng and see the highest levels of medical professionalism and knowledge at work. I am so glad I found her on the internet and took the time to make an appointment and go get help with my breathing and chest problems.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
