Simonmed Imaging - San Francisco Post St's Online Review Report Card

I am claustrophobic and needed an open MRI. Fortunately for me Simon Med has one. The open machine was not bad however, if not for the skilled technician Richard at 1180 Post Street in San Francisco...I could not have tolerated 35 minutes of beeping. He was patient with me cslling out the minutes checking on me throughout the entire session. I highly reccomend Simon Med Imaging at 1180 Post Street. The staff were welcoming and Richard was a gem.

If your even a little claustrophobic definitely do the open MRI. The tech had nice music playing and made me feel very comfortable.. And I have RLS and I got thru as n hour with hardly any movement !

This is the worst place to do business with , not provisional at all .my appointment 9 Am waited until 10:30 the fat lady in the front desk very rode doesn't give any explain why is that instead she offer reschedule if  I don't like it . Never go back to that place all they care about it your insurance

There was only one staff member that was exceptional . The rest were unprofessional, shouting and used profanities at the desk. I could not believe what I was hearing. The last issue was that they were supposed to send over my x-ray and CT scan which they never did. so my surgery had to be pushed back. The employees are a disgrace.

I've come to this location twice for the same incident because the first MRI scan i came for was done in the incorrect location. Both times coming in I requested an open scan and was asked to move to a close scan even after REQUESTING and filling out paper work upon arrival that I was cloister phobic. This was the start of my frustration. The front desk are also extremely rude and serve zero compassion or any form of fostering a welcoming environment. After my second visit I will be requesting my service elsewhere.  Secondly before coming to my second appointment the front desk called me with with a very unwelcoming tones asking why I needed to come in for a second visit if the scan was already done. Not only was her tone aggressive but my original appointment for my second visit had to be rescheduled because the technician left early. I don't appreciate this type of service especially if they were the ones who made the mistake during my first scan.

The care and respect to the people the tech was professional and caring

Well the staff was nice enough and I'm not sure if anybody else has experienced this or not but I have been sicker than a dog since my two MRIs last week worse I forgot my bra on during the MRI and on top of that I had a special rock that I always keep in my bra for good luck on and it just so happens to be a hunk of metal which left to burn mark on my chest as it was being pulled through by the magnet on the other side of my body doing the MRI I have been so ill nauseous I have not felt the same every time I close my eyes I see stars and that started happening from when I was in the MRI I'm supposed to go back for one more I'm absolutely terrified if anybody else has experienced anything like this can you please tell me what you did to feel better I'm at a loss and I can't find much online about it thank you

I was very shocked to see that this is a very professional place the people there were very professional which is something that you do not find at all in San Francisco if you're not a tourist and you're not in a tourist trap there's no professionalism here I was truly shocked at the area of town that they were in and at the professionalism that they performed yesterday I have sleep apnea so I slept my technician was very kind he woke me up very gently he didn't scream or holler or he wasn't mean he told me exactly what he needed me to do he told me very slowly and he told me very clearly so I had no questions for him I did exactly what I was told to do and apparently everything came out fine I'm grateful that there are still some places here in the city that do value their customers or patients I should say the way that they do thank you and hopefully I never have to go back but if I do I would like to go there thank you you guys have a good year

Just awful customer service and treatment. I have spent hours on line and the phone with these clowns, over many, many be months of trying to get imaging. Utterly incompetent does not describe this disgraceful outfit. I'll be filing a complaint with Medicare to shut them down or shape them up.
